God being Misunderstood
PSALM 106:7-8
7 Our fathers understood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea. (The Red sea was when He was going to rid them of the Egyptian taskmasters forever, but they misunderstood what God was doing because of a lack of trust)
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known. (Not just His mighty power to do great works in which we know that he did do, but the mighty power of his love and grace to an undeserving people, that takes a power of character – we were all undeserving, but the power of the character of His love and His grace saved us in spite of our sin and disobedience and unbelief and murmurings)
God being Misunderstood
EZEKIEL 20:21-22
21 Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
22 Nevertheless I withdrew mine hand, and wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted in the sight of the heathen, in whose sight I brought them forth. (God could have destroyed these exodus people because of their rebellion and unbelief, but to keep the respect of his name among the heathen of whose sight he delivered them out of, He withdrew His hand of judgement from them of what they really deserved. This is also what we have seen in this “Third Exodus” under this third Exodus prophet - it is for his name sake that he will take us all the way into the promises of this age which is the rapturing of the bride – it will not be because of our good behaviour, we should have good behaviour, but it is not because of that, it will be for His Names sake)
EZEKIEL 20:44
44 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have wrought with you for my name's sake, not according to your wicked ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, O ye house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
I am so glad he deals with us according to his great mercy and for his name sake and not according to our mistakes

75 …I believe it's the coming in of the issue of God, that the great revelation of the Word will be opened during this time. Remember, they claim it was three stars came into the orbit when Jesus was born. And this is five, and five is grace, the number of grace. Three is the number of perfection. Five is the number of grace: J-e-s-u-s, g-r-a-c-e, f-a-i-t-h, so forth, number of grace. God ever sends His power to the church, it'll be His grace; it won't be the obedience of the people. And Isaiah said in the 40th chapter, how to cry to Jerusalem, that her warfare was over, yet she was guilty of idolatry, but it was God's grace that was sending it. God sends anything to us, it'll be His grace and not our merits.
I have been thinking about how that the first two pulls of brother Branham’s ministry (and especially the second pull of the revealing of the secrets of the person’s life) and how that gift was used by God through brother Branham in a supernatural way to reveal something about the person’s life to them, and by the revealing of their life that it would cause the person’s faith to be lifted up to a place where God would have to honour that faith so that they could receive their healing, and brother Branham tells us that healing is the earnest of the resurrection, it’s the down payment of the fullness that is to come at the rapture and body change from mortal to immortal. The healing ministry of the first and second pull were forerunners to that of the faith of which the third pull will produce.
**And so we know that these first two pulls were a pattern for the third pull of which would also reveal our lives to us in an even greater way as to what the second pull did by the revealing of the mystery of our lives throughout the entire bible.
Under the third pull of the opening of the word, our lives would be shown in the scriptures, and that would give a charge to our faith to produce the promised body change of this hour because God has to honour real faith, but unless your faith reaches to a certain height by the revealing of the word, then you are just hoping and it is not real faith, so that is why the word had to be opened so that it could release a faith on a people for rapturing grace – it is the grace of God that had done this for you in this hour.
THE.SEVENTH.SEAL_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 63-0324E
565-2 {307} ... The noted one to me, the seventh Angel, it seemed more to me than any. Now, see, they were standing like this (Now, we just want you to notice.), and I was standing here, and I was watching those other... See, one... First bunch of little birds, feathers all beat down. You remember them? and they all flew eastward. And the second bunch were brighter, bigger birds, looked like doves, pointed wings; they flew eastward: first pull, second pull. Then the next was Angels.
From little birds of the first and second pull, to Angels – this is what he is saying.
The first and second pull were little birds, but the third pull was angels, and angels are messengers with a message, because it is the message of the hour that reveals who we are in this hour, so it is a more advanced way of revealing of what the first and second pull could not produce. Your life would be revealed by the opening of the word.
So we want to look at a little dream that Brother Branham had that he relates to us just one month before he was taken from us in the message “Works is Faith Expressed”.
*I apologise for jumping around with some of these different thoughts, but we trust that the Holy Spirit will bring these thoughts together in some way to help us see our place in this hour.

24 I had a dream, the other morning. I don't dream very often, I'm not a dreamer. But I--I dreamed that I seen a man, a young fellow in shackels, he was trying to get out, and I said... Somebody told me, said, "Those are horrible people, don't have nothing to do with them." (It is interesting to note that this is what some people are trying to say about message people of today, that they are not nice people, and that they are horrible people – but God is revealing here that this is just a misunderstanding as we will see)
25 And I seen this young fellow getting out of his shackels so I just let him alone. I thought, "I'll just see what he does." So he got out, and he was a nice fellow. And I seen others trying to get out. (it’s like that in this dream he is looking into the future of the message world and seeing what would come to pass of the people that would continue on in the believe of his message)
26 Now, this is only a dream. And I walked over this a-way and I seen a--a brother, Roy Borders, a very good friend of mine, lives in California. Looked like there's something wrong, his eyes was half closed, and great big... maybe cancer or something over his eyes (Your eyes represents your understanding). And I... someone was trying to pull me away from him. I screamed, "Brother Borders! In the Name of the Lord Jesus, snap out of that!"
27 And he just barely could speak, saying, "Brother Branham, it'll have to take something more than this. I just can't grasp it, Brother Branham. I just can't grasp it."
28 I said, "O Brother Borders." I love him.
29 And someone pulled me away, and I looked, and it was a lady standing over here. The... when I was a little boy, I--I used to haul groceries from the grocery store to the peoples. And her name was Mrs. Fenton, she lives in Jeffersonville yet, a personal friend to the wife and I.
30 And she said, "Brother Branham, deliver us from this." Said, "This is a house of hell (The house of hell is the Satan’s Eden that we are living in today)." And said, "You've been misunderstood." And said, "These... And you--you misunderstood these people, too." Said, "These are fine people, but..." And I looked over there, and like a great big cellar, or--or big walls, down beneath a great big cave; and great iron bars, eight or ten inches thick. And people, out of their mind, twisted arms and legs, beating their head like that. And she was crying, saying, "Deliver the people, Brother Branham." Said--said, "Help us, we're in trouble." She herself, I know her, she belongs to the... I believe the Church of Christ, or the Christian church, called Church of the Brethren. So she...
31 I looked around, and I said, "I wished I could." And go on, looking around; and I... my little, bitty body and--and them great, big iron bars; and those poor people in there. And you couldn't get to them, them iron bars was setting close together. And I looked, and they were beating their head like they were out of their mind.
32 And I seen some lights flickering around in there. And I looked up, and there stood the Lord Jesus with a--a--a lights of rainbow around Him. He was looking right straight to me, said, "Deliver those people." And He went away.
33 And I thought, "Well, how could I deliver them? I--I haven't got strength enough in my arms to break those bars."
34 So I said, "House of hell, give away to the Name of Jesus Christ."
35 And all the creaking and popping, and--and the rocks a-rolling, and--and bars a-falling; and people running, screaming, "Delivered!" and screaming at the top of their voice, and was all delivered. (This is the spoken word of this hour from the mouth of a prophet that will deliver the elect of this age out of the hell of this age)
36 And I was screaming then, "Brother Roy Borders, where are you? Where are you? God is delivering His people! Where are you, Brother Borders?" I've wondered about that. (Maybe this is showing us that when this deliverance is taking place that it would be a time when brother Roy Borders had left the scene and had already gone on to be with the Lord – I do believe that he has passed on?)
**We know that so much of the message was preached for a future time of when the full revelation of it would be needed.
We know how the Lord told Brother Branham to lay up the food in the store house of tapes and books as it would be needed by the bride at a later stage of when the house of hell of this age that we are living in would become far more advanced and begin to bar the people in and affect them mentally, and now we have come to these times when we need these things of the prophet’s word to enlighten our understanding and to rub away our misunderstanding and to bring us into a true understanding and fellowship with God.

638-233 He was misunderstood. He's always been misunderstood. Israel misunderstood Him. The people in Noah's time misunderstood Him. The people in Daniel's time misunderstood Him. The people in John's time misunderstood Him. The people in--in the prophet's time misunderstood Him. The people in the Pentecostal age misunderstood Him. The people in this age misunderstands Him; it's still the same. They don't get it, because He's misunderstood.
So in all these pervious ages and even up to this age and time right now, God has been misunderstood because we know that he had never fully unveiled himself before the people – but it is the time now in this age that the Mighty God has been unveiled before us by the opening of the seven seals.
**To misunderstand God is to have a wrong idea of what God is, and God cannot have true fellowship with someone who thinks that He is something that he is not, or that he is not something that he is.
And so true fellowship is based on a clear understanding of the person’s thoughts and point of view.
Birds of a feather flock together because they think the same thoughts and have the same views and so they can understand one another fully, and that is what gathers them in fellowship. So fellowship with God is when you understand the thoughts of God in the truth of what God is – and only the message of this hour can bring you into that correct understanding and relationship with God.
Outside of the revealing of the word of this hour you will misunderstand God, it is impossible to come into a true fellowship with God without the word being restored.

E-29 And everyone that tries to live before God right, is misunderstood. That's right. People misunderstand you. They think there's something wrong with you. They... Sometimes they're considered neurotics when they really try to live true, live loyal and true to God, because they don't drink and take a sociable party.

72 Jesus said, "Depart from you... from Me, you that work iniquity. I never even knew you." There's the disappointment, see, that deceitfulness.
73 That's what I'm constantly... that's where I'm so misunderstood. It's not that I want to be different. I don't want to be different, but I've got to be honest. I have a Message, and That must go to the people. Makes it very much misunderstood amongst the people. They think I'm against everybody. They only know, I'm for everybody, and trying my best to bring them what's the Truth, just as it's laid on my heart and the way it's laid in the Bible here. And God proves that to be the Truth, so there is nothing else can be done about it. So, be they look at It, or they don't.

639-243 See, people misunderstood this enthusiasm. People misunderstand today. They misunderstand the power of the Holy Spirit. They call it a bunch of holy-rollers. They call it a bunch of people that ain't got their right mind. They misunderstand that you had to lose your--what you call your right mind...?... because you have the mind of Christ in you. You can't have the mind of the world and the mind of Christ at the same time, one's carnal and the other one's spiritual. "He that walks after the flesh is carnal; he that walks after the Spirit is spiritual." Amen. So I'll lose myself and find it, Lord, in Thee. Yes, sir.
So God's misunderstood. It's not you that's misunderstood; it's the Holy Spirit making you do that that they misunderstand. Amen. They're not speaking against you; they're speaking against Him. People are misunderstood.
There they let them go, but they get right back in the street and start again. The same today, they misunderstand the people. They don't know what it is.
639-245 Today I'm misunderstood in my ministry, that He sent me to the people. They misunderstand. Every one of them said, "We believe Brother Branham..." I talked to a preacher awhile ago, said, "Brother Branham, we all know that you was sent to the church, but, the idea is, how do you come baptizing in Jesus' Name?" They misunderstand the Scriptures. They misunderstand it. That's what He sent me for; that's my purpose of being here. "Why do you teach the serpent's seed, and things like that that's contrary to what we teach?" Well, brother, that's why I'm here. They just misunderstand it. Amen. But God is bearing record by His Word and the signs of the Holy Ghost in...?... No matter how much they may misunderstand it, God's confirming the Word. Amen.
God's always been misunderstood. And those who live with God are misunderstood with God, because it's God working in them. Amen. You believe it?
If the groom was misunderstood, then the bride will also be misunderstood, and that is why that there will be times when we will even misunderstand one another as we are growing in the grace and knowledge of this hour.
***God was misunderstood in this age by the religious world of this age, but he is not being misunderstood by the bride in the bride age of where fellowship between God and man has been restored again.
Misunderstanding breaks fellowship, but understanding restores fellowship.
