Worship and Service Pt.2
DEUTERONOMY 16:1-6
1 ¶ Observe the month of Abib (That’s close enough to our April), and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. (In this age of this night time, we have also been brought out of the denominational systems of man’s bondage)
2 Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.
3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith (this represents the seven church ages), even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.
4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.
5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates (these gates represents the denominations of this day), which the LORD thy God giveth thee:
6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun (Notice – worship at evening time. When did Eliezer call Rebekah to be the bride? - at evening time, when did Rebekah met Isaac? – at evening time), at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
REVELATION 13:8
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (Notice that this is also an evening time worship. This is the end time when everyone is forced to worshiping something, the bride is worshiping Christ in the truth of the revealed word, while the rest of the world is caught up in the many thousands of different forms of deception and false worship), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (To be caught up in false worship at evening time reveals that your name is not written in the Lambs section of the book of life)
Worship and Service Pt.2
Recap a little from last week:
The first of the 10 commandments in Exodus 20 is to do with worship.
EXODUS 20:2-3
2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
The word “god” means “object of worship” and humans will make almost anything a god because it is in man to worship something. There are more idols and gods today then there has ever been upon the earth.
PSALM 150:1-6
1 ¶ Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.
***Often Religious people get praise mixed up with worship in thinking that it is the same thing. Praising the Lord can certainly be a part of worship, but it is not necessarily worship itself because true worship must first come out of a true revelation of God that produces a lifestyle that is an evidence of that revelation.
If we truly love God, then we will do the things in life that will serve him and serve his purpose for this hour.
REVELATION 13:8
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Referring to this scripture, brother Branham said:
238-3 THYATIREAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.6
Thank God the sheep will not worship him. Everyone but the very elect will be deceived. But they will not be deceived. For they hear the Shepherd's voice and they follow Him.
Hearing the Shepherd’s voice is what delivers you from deception – there is no other way. Deception and false worship go together – false worship always follows deception, and deception comes by of a lack of revelation of the truth of the revealed word.
***So the only true worship that is received by God in this end time age would only be found among a people that have received the truth by the voice of God for this age, because true worship can only come out of a true revelation of God, and he is the word for the age.
In 1965, brother Branham preached 3 sermons showing of how that God will only receiving worship from one place.

213 Jesus said, "I came in My Father's Name, and you received Me not." You want the Scripture on that? St. John 5:43. See? "I--I came in My Father's Name, and you received Me not." Then the Father put His Own Name, which is "Jesus," in the Son. And He's the way, He's the door, He's the house, He's where God chose to put His Name. God never put His Name in me, He never put It in the church, He never put It in the Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, but He put It in Christ the Anointed Emmanuel.
214 And the Name is in the Word because He is the Word. Amen! What is He then? The Word interpreted is the manifestation of the Name of God. No wonder. "Flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father which is in Heaven has revealed this to you, Who I am. And upon this rock I'll build My place of worship, and the gates of hell can't shake It down."
**Remember - When Cain tried to serve and worship God by the fruit of the field, that worship was not in harmony with the revelation of the truth, and so God refused that worship, but Abel’s worship was received because it was according to the revelation of that hour.
GENESIS 4:3-5
3 ¶ And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. – We know that Cain went on to murder his brother Abel showing us that the false worshipers will always try to destroy the true worshipers – look at Nebuchadnezzar’s false worship of the Image – after that false worship, he was intending to murder Shadrach Meshach and Abednego who were the true worshipers.
MARK 7:5-7
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
The scripture is making it plain here that if you are sitting under a ministry that is teaching the doctrines and the commandments of man, then regardless of how you may think you are worshiping the Lord, your worship and respect of God under that false teaching is empty and a waste of time. False teaching can never produce a true worship toward God.

256 Sometime the Capstone will return, the head of all of it, and receive the Bride unto Himself; which the woman is took from the man, a part of the man. Every... Genes of the man is in the woman, what makes the woman. And that's the way the Word of God is in the Church, what makes the Church the Bride. Not a denomination, that's of the Devil, every one of them.
(Not all the individual people within the denominations are of the devil, but the system of man over man which is man running the church instead of the Holy Spirit)

289 Think of it. His hardest pierces comes from the pulpit. That's where His new Calvary is at. They crucify Him, the Word, at the pulpit. That's right. How, how'd they do it? By their forms of godliness. That's exactly!
290 Crowned from the audience, by scoffers! He's got a new crown of thorns, scoffers! Pierced from the pulpit; crowned by the scoffers. Is He crucified again, afresh? Striped by man-made creeds, teachers of denomination against His Word. They stripe It, in shame, condemn It.
291 Jesus said, "In vain they worship Me." In vain, "don't do no good." Who they worship? They worship that same God. They was worshipping that same God at His first crucifixion, and it was vain worship. It's the same thing today. In vain they build these denominations. In vain they build these seminaries. In vain they have these creeds, teaching for doctrine the commandments of man, and denying the Word of God. They're guilty of crucifying the Prince of Life, teaching man's doctrines for His Word. "In vain they worship Me," striped, pierced, crowned.
JOHN 6:28-29
28 ¶ Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
***To serve God is to do a work for God according to the program of what he wants done for the day that you are living in. So your work for the Lord must be according to the revelation for the age or you will simply not be serving Him or worshiping him.
So the scripture is telling us planning that our work in this end time age is to hear the voice and believe in the message that God has spoken in this hour through the end time messenger for this last age.
***So to serve God in this end time dispensation is to do everything we can to come into a full faith of what God has revealed to us for this hour because we cannot please God without the revelation of the word for our age inside of us. HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him:
And that is why Satan wants us to do every other work under heaven, and to serve every other purpose apart from purpose and will of God.
***The work and purpose of God in this day is for us to come into a full faith and maturity of the word, and faith comes by hearing the word for your day.
***If you aren’t listen to the message of the hour and reading the bible and attending church service and growing in the revelation of this hour, then you are not serving the Lord and doing His work.
DEUTERONOMY 11:13-21
13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day (Notice - the work for that day began with the choice of paying careful attention to the hearing of the word by the voice of the prophet that was given for that season – that was the only way for you to be able to come into the correct service and worship of the Lord, it must first begin by your choice to hearken diligently to the truth for your day), to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.
15 And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full. (Notice that this is to do with natural prosperity and having access to plenty of food)
16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; (Remember - Deception of the heart leads to the service and worship of other gods)
17 And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.
18 ¶ Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
19 And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
20 And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
LUKE 4:5-8
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. (Above all else, Satan wanted worship, he want to be admired and looked up to and to be awed at, and he wanted that so bad that he was even prepaired to give away all the kingdoms of the world which he owned and would ever own in the future just for the sake of being worshiped and adored – he wanted to take the place of Michael who was Christ, so that he could be worshiped instead of God)
8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
REVELATION 13:7-18
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
(Any power has to be given and allowed by God – when Pilot said to Jesus “I have power to condemn you”, Jesus said to Pilot that “he would have no power unless it had been given to him of my Father)
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If any man have an ear, let him hear. (Notice again that the first thing to do if you don’t want to be a part of this group that worships Satan, is to have an ear to hear what the spirit is saying through the message for your day)
10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 ¶ And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth (America); and he had two horns like a lamb (Brother Branham said that that was the American buffalo), and he spake as a dragon (America isn’t the dragon, Rome is the dragon, but America is going to speak as the dragon because the Roman Church and the State of America will unite together, Rome is the religious power, and America has the military power to enforce the will of the Roman church).
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (The first beast was the religious power of the Catholic Church which persecuted and killed all that didn’t worship their creeds and dogma)
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, (Hiroshima and Nagasaki – the atom bomb - this is a fire that has come about because of the opening of the bottomless pit in Revelation chapter 9 – the key that opened up the pit of hell was the key of science and technology - great wonders are achieved in this end time age because of science and technology, that is what is causing people to be blinded to the truth - they are so wowed out by the wonders of technology that they have become deceived by it)
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. (The image to the Catholic Church’s religious power is the denominational systems and churches of the world because they are under the same spirit of denomination as the Catholic Church which is man over man in hierarchy – that is why that the mark of the beast is denominationalism)
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed (Just as Cain killed Abel - The Protestants and the Catholics are united under one head, and with the military power of America and the rest of the world they will try to kill anything that disagrees with them, and notice how they do their killing, by economic sanctions – by controlling the money of the world).
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
(***So what we read in Deuteronomy of how that God would refuse to prosper a people that would worship other gods, now we see that Satan is demanding worship or he will cut of financial blessing and the ability for that person to prosper)
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Vicarius Filli Dei = Instead of the son of God.
The Catholic Church believes that Peter was the first pope; that he was the successor of Jesus Christ. And so many people know that this 666 is the pope who is the head of the Catholic church, but what most people don’t know is that this also include the protestant religious organizations because they also have the same spirit of the Catholic Church which is man over man hierarchy that act instead of the son of God to their people, they reject the authority of the revealed word for this age.
