Come Hither, I Will Shew Thee the Bride, the Lamb's Wife
REVELATION 21:7-10
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (This overcoming is not so much dealing with the failure of man’s humanity, but it is dealing with overcoming the deception of the age that we are living in by the revelation of the word for the age, because sin is always caused first by deception – Eve was deceived first before the first sin ever took place)
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (All these conditions came about by first being deceived. Notice - this word “Part” = a portion of time, there is a period of time allotted in the lake of fire before annihilation of the body and soul)
9 ¶ And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Come hither, I Will Shew Thee the Bride, the Lamb's Wife
Shew = Greek word - deiknuo {dike-noo'-o} - to show by words or teaching – reveal by words – that is how the Son of Man has also chosen to be revealed in this day - In the days when the son of man is revealed by the revealing of the word.
Paraphrase - Come hither and I will show thee by my words and by my teaching the Bride, the Lamb's Wife

139-4 {150} Now, watch, He said it would be known in the last day, but it comes forth in a church symbol. Do you understand it, church? It comes forth in a--a symbol of a church that they know there is a Seal, but just what it is yet, they don't know, because it's a white horse rider.
And it only is to be revealed at the last day when this actual Seal is broken. Broken to who? Not to Christ, but to the Church. Notice, now. Oh, my, that just makes me tremble. I--I--I hope that the Church truly understands it (See what I mean?), you people. I'm going to call you Bride. (See?) That you'll understand it.
In the book of Revelation we know that John represents the end time bride of Christ, and the angel that is “showing” John (the Bride) these things is the seventh angel (William Branham).
REVELATION 1:1
1 ¶ The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: (The message to John came by the angel – we know that this is the seventh angel of Revelation 10:7 and Revelation 3:14 and Malachi 4:5-6)
REVELATION 22:8-9
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
(So the bible is telling us that this angel is a Prophet)
REVELATION 21:17
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. (This angel was a Man)
REVELATION 19:9-10
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. (The testimony of Jesus not the testimony of Moses as with the Old Testament Jewish prophets – this was a gentile prophet, an end time gentile prophet.)
If you take the four gospels -
- Mathew was the Lion anointing
- Mark was the Ox anointing
- Luke was the Man anointing
- and John was the flying Eagle anointing, the only creature that could leave the earth and fly into the heavens – “come up hither John” Revelation 4:1.
So we see that John (who represents the end time bride under the seventh angel’s message) was called to witness the Lambs wife – what a privilege that was.
We are blessed if we have been called to the marriage supper of the Lamb, but look at the attitude of many of the people that were called.
LUKE 14:16-20
16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
17 And sent his servant (one servant, one evening time messenger – not two or an 8th or 9th prophet) at supper time (the end time age) to say (give a message) to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. (notice – mostly they were being very polite about it)
20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
***In other words they valued the naturally things of prosperity of this temporal life greater than the invitation by the 7th angel messenger to come up higher and to feed upon the revelation of this hour – and it is unfortunate, but this day this prophecy is being fulfilled among many that have been bidden by this messenger, because we see that there are so many distractions in this age that are pulling the people away from gathering around and coming to the great supper of the revelation of the hour.
But this is not the response of the true bride of Christ in this end time hour.
Opening scripture
REVELATION 21: 9
9 ¶ And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
So we know that the angel that showed or revealed to John who the Lambs wife was, was the seventh angel (William Branham) - the same one who had been showing John these things all along.
***So through the ministry of the seventh angel and his message, the bible is revealing and showing who the true bride of Christ is to the bride in this hour, and we by faith see that we are a part of the bride by the way we respond to the revelation of this hour by our identification with the word for this age.
Look at the bride revealed in the book of Ruth
Look at the bride revealed in the book of Esther
Look at the bride revealed in the book of Genesis with the story of Rebekah
Look at the bride revealed in the story of Sarah, and Rahab the Harlot, and Tamar, and Abigail, and Bathsheba. Who showed us all these things? The message of the hour by the ministry of seventh angel.
“Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife”.
Hither = Greek word - deuro {dyoo'-ro
1a) hither to this place
1b) in urging and calling,
An urging and a calling to come to this place
In other words - there is a place that we must come to and be gathered to in order to be shown the Lamb’s wife (the Bride of Christ throughout 7 church ages) – and that place is where God has placed his name which is in the word for the age – so you must come to the word for this age because only the message of the hour by the seventh angel can reveal the lamb’s wife to you.
REVELATION 4:1
1 ¶ After this I looked (after what? After the 7 church ages had been revealed), and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
“Hither” = here, to this place – “come up here to this place” - an ascension, like an eagle taking its flight to the sky where it can see things that it could never have seen if it had remained on the ground.
Lion, Ox, Man, anointing could not see these things that we can see today, only the people of the eagle age anointing and under the messenger for this age can see the lamb’s wife.
So after the seven church ages had been preached in 1960, and then the seals where preached in 1963 under the eagle anointing, it revealed and showed to us the Lamb’s wife under the Lion anointing – the Lamb’s wife under the Ox anointing, the Lamb’s wife under the Man anointing, and now also the Lamb’s wife under the eagle anointing of this age, and that is why in this age we can not only know who the bride was in all the other ages, but we can also know who the bride is in this age and that we are a part of the bride for this age.

6 Bible teaching is usually a little treacherous, a little, you know, kind of walking out on the thin ice; we call it. But we just feel that maybe at this point and at this time, it might be good to kinda bring the--the church to what I think to a--a complete understanding, positionally, of what we are in Christ Jesus. And sometimes I think that preaching is a wonderful thing, but I believe sometimes, Brother Beeler, that teaching goes beyond that, it kindly... Especially to the church.
Now, preaching usually catches the sinner, brings him under condemnation by the Word. But teaching places a man positionally what he is. And we can never rightly be able to have faith until positionally we know what we are.
**Esther in the bible was struggling to have faith in a time of trouble because she hadn’t matured into knowing her position in her relationship to the king, so she fasted for 3 days (like a works program) not realizing the power of the position that she already possessed with the king by the marriage covenant. She was already the kings wife, and we are already the Lambs wife, but like Esther what we lack is the revelation of our position and the power of that position, so that is where we are to mature into the knowledge of our position as the Bride of Christ in this hour – this message is trying to show you yourself, and your position – “I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife”.

240 The new Birth is Christ, is the revelation. God has revealed to you this great mystery, and that's a new Birth. Now what are you going to do when you get all that group together, where the revelation is perfectly in harmony, and God expressing it through His Word by the same actions, the same things that He did, making the Word manifest! Oh, if the Church only knew its position! It will, one day. Then, the Rapture will go when it knows what it is.Now notice.
241 You say, "Brother Branham, but that--that ain't..." Oh, yes, it is, too. It is the Truth.
242 Did you notice? Paul never knew Jesus, physically. Paul never knew Him. The only way that Paul knew Him was by a revelation, by a vision. Is that right? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Paul only knew Jesus by the revelation, just like Peter did.
243 Peter had seen Him in flesh, but he didn't know Him by flesh, 'cause Jesus said so. "Flesh and blood didn't reveal it to you. Even My Own life didn't reveal it to you. But My Father which is in Heaven has revealed the thing to you, that He is the Word of God, and upon this rock I'll build My Church." Peter didn't know Him by flesh. Man walked, and handled Him, and everything else.
If a person appeared to you looking exactly like Hoffman’s head of Christ at 33 – that would never reveal Jesus Christ to you personally. You can only know him by the revelation of the word, and you can also only know the Lamb’s wife by the revelation of the word because if you looked at the flesh of the people you would never see the Lamb’s wife, because to see the Lamb’s wife it must be revealed to you by a clear understanding of the word through the ministry of the seventh angel’s message.

67 How many's received the promise of the Holy Ghost? Oh, aren't you glad that you're in the land over here now, eating the old corn, eating the strong things of God, and got a clear understanding. Your--your spiritual mind is all unmuddled up. You know exactly Who He is. You know exactly What He is. You know exactly where you're going. You know exactly all about It. You know in Whom you have believed and persuaded He's able to keep that which you've committed to Him against the day. Oh, that's the one; that's who Paul's talking to now.

25 And now, in these Messages that I speak, I never try to bring in any doctrine, or so forth. I--I do that in my own church. But out here amongst men and women who are different denominations with different ideas, I just try to take in a mild form, explain; but enough to where if you're born of the Spirit of God, I believe you'll understand what I mean, among Christian men, Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, whatmore.
26 Now, tonight, I want to turn to Genesis, the 24th chapter. I want to read the... beginning with the 12th verse of the 24th chapter of Genesis.
And he said, O LORD God... my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham.
Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:
And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down the pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou has appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou has showed me kindness to... unto my master.
27 And then in the Book of Revelation. That's the first of the Bible, Genesis. Now, in the last of the Bible, I want to read in the 21st chapter of Revelation, and the 9th verse.
28 We know what this Scripture of Genesis here... You read the whole chapter, if you wish to. It's God sending out Eliezer. Or, Abraham sending out Eliezer, pardon me, to select a bride for Isaac. And the beautiful Rebekah came out, and in perfect answer to the prayer that--that Eliezer, the servant of Abraham, had just prayed.
Now in the 9th verse of the 21st chapter of Revelations.
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, and I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
Here is the seventh angel prophet himself who is under the eagle anointing of this age, who knows that he is this angel of Revelation 21:9, and who is standing in that place of where the light for the age is being interpreted for the age, and then (by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit) from Genesis to Revelation he begins to show us the bride of this hour, the Lamb’s wife in all the shadows and types throughout the entire bible.
“Come up hither John, come up into this place of a spiritual revelation where you can see these things clearly”
This 7th angel’s voice is calling us to come up higher into this revelation – to come into this place where he can show us by the word, and by the teaching, and by the message of the hour who we are in this hour, that we are the bride of Christ, the Lamb’s wife.”
I am so glad that by the revelation of this hour we have come into that same place where the angel is, and we are growing into the fullness of the knowledge of who we are.
We know who the bride is in this hour and what she stands for - and not only do we know who she is in this age, but we know who she was in all the other ages, and we know by our response to the call to this great supper in this hour that we are also a part of this mystery of the revelation of the Bride of Christ.
