The Changing of Garments
ISAIAH 61:10
10 ¶ I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. Notice – Both the bridegroom and the bride are clothed with glorified garments.
LUKE 15:21-22
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants (notice not servant, but servants – this is the fivefold ministry), Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
A ring stands for position and authority, and shoes represent dominion and possession – in other words the title deed is coming back because Adam lost eternal life, fellowship with God, and dominion over the earth. But if we’ll notice, the first thing that the son received before anything else was a change of garment.
The Changing of Garments
Last week – “Dress Code” - and we showed how that what a person is on the inside in their spirit, they will reflect that on the outside with their clothing.
When Adam and Eve sinned, the first thing that it affected was their clothing – they didn’t hide themselves because they were afraid of God, but because they were afraid to face God in a naked state.
GENESIS 3:9-10
9 ¶ And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. His fear came from his state and condition of being naked before God.
I CORINTHIANS 15:51-54
51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, (Notice carefully - he did not reveal the mystery at that time, he just told about the mystery of the body change, but in this end time age that mystery would be fully comprehended and understood by an end time people (we shall all be changed) Just as Adam and Eve were change from immortal to mortal, they went from being clothed to nakedness, so must this end time bride be changed back again from mortal to immortality and be cloth upon with a new body)
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye (the eye is the seeing part of the body – and in this age that represents the prophet, so our change could not come until the prophet had come on the scene), at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed (not replaced, but changed - like you would change into a new garment).
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (Notice again - Incorruption and immortality is something that you put on – like putting on a new overcoat)
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
So we know that this portion of scripture is a promise specifically reserved for this age and for this hour - it apples directly to us in this age. And because we know this, then we also know what is required of us in this age, and that we are the people that are to bring this promise to pass, and we are living in the season when this promise is soon to become history in a people.
But before you can bring a promise to pass, a faith must be released upon you by the message of God that comes to you for that time that you are living in, because your level of faith is directly proportional to the level of revelation released to you by God.
I CORINTHIANS 14:20
20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.
We know that all life in the natural comes from light.
And that is why in this age the light has to be shined on the elect of God in its full strength in order for the people to ripen so they can be harvested and taken into the garner which for us is the rapture and the millennium, because it is only by the strength of the SON light that we can come into full maturity because God does not change the way he does things – it is the sun that ripens the natural grain just before harvest, and it is the SON of man ministry in its full strength that ripens the end time bride just before the rapture.
And so none of us are going anywhere until (as the collective body of Christ) we come into that prophesied condition. And the purpose of the revelation of this hour is to bring us into that condition. And one of those conditions of maturity is that we know who we are by the word that has been opened and revealed to us in this age, because in the volume of the book it was written of the bride of this hour – she is the word made flesh that was prophesied of this hour.

172 ... That's what lost the fellowship of the human race, is when Satan introduced the program of reasoning against the Word being so. And it sound very logical.
When man fell in the Garden of Eden, we know that fell from a faith civilisation to a civilisation of reasoning against the word, and because of that change he lost his fellowship with God and the supernatural power that was associated by being in oneness with God.
In the original Eden there was no reasoning of science of 1+1=2, Adam didn’t know anything about 1+1=2 in the way that we know it today, but when that ability to operate in that faith realm left Adam and Eve because of Eve’s reasoning against the word, then they had to learn to operate and became dependent upon a law of reasoning and science – Adam had to educate himself to live by another law that was much lower and limited, a law that was never intended by God for man to live by.
In Eden 1+1 could equal 2, but it could also equal anything you liked, it was not limited to just 2, but under this new law of science and reasoning, it was greatly limited, and now the most that 1+1 can give you is 2.
JOHN 6:5-7
5 When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?
6 And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
7 Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little.
Jesus was thinking in a different formula to Philip. Philip was thinking in the restricted scientific laws of the reasoning of man, but Jesus was thinking in the realm of the original faith civilisation – a faith cultural thinking, not a science taught thinking.
And that is why when a person becomes more educated in the ways of this world, it usually makes it harder for them to operate in the realms of faith because their thinking is so concreted in the channel of reasoning by the laws of science.
So what has all this to do with the subject of the changing of garments? – Because with a change of thinking comes a change of garments, and the change of our garments in this age represents our new bodies – the body change, but before we can change on the outside, the word has come to first change our thinking on the inside from science back to faith in the word again.
Abraham and Sarah received new bodies after they meet God manifested in a human form and came out of the realm of partial faith and into a channel of total reliance upon God.
PHILIPPIANS 3:20-21
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
“Vial” = Greek word - tapeinosis {tap-i'-no-sis} -- low estate – humiliation
**Our low level quality bodies are just an outer garment that we ware that reflects our low level thinking of our reasoning against the word. That is why Adam and Eve fell from bodies that were immortal and became mortal beings.
I CORINTHIANS 15:41-44
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
Samson (a type of the end time bride), when the spirit of the Lord came upon him, his body had more strength than that of a lion – so this proves that the human body is far stronger than any of the animals under certain conditions, but the reason why we are so weak is because the spirit of the Lord is missing – that ingredient is what is missing, and because of that we are about the weakest of all the animal kingdom for our size and weight.
GENESIS 3:11
11 ¶ And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? (It was education against the word that brought them into a condition of nakedness, and that is why the more educated our society becomes the more naked they become – a change of garment comes by a change of teaching) Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? (It was a tree of education and reasoning against the word)
In this age we are promised a body change – like changing our outer garments.
Notice:
* Abraham and Sarah received a new body but then had to go into the grave
* Jesus went into the grave and came out with a new body
* But the end time bride will get a new body and not go into the grave
REVELATION 6:9-11a
9 ¶ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11a And white robes were given unto every one of them;
These souls under the sacrificial alter are the ones that will receive immortal bodies at the great white throne. So we know that new robes in the bible are symbolic for bodies of a greater glory than these earthly robes of flesh that we now ware.
Opening scripture:
LUKE 15:11-24
11 ¶ And he said, A certain man had two sons:
12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. (He thought that having his own will and way would lead him to joy, happiness, and peace – but it lead him in exactly the opposite from that – it was his own reasoning that deceive him)
14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,
19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:
24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
**When the son went from the father’s house to the pig pen, he had a change of garments to reflect that change just like Adam did when he left Eden, but when he returns back to the father’s house again, the first thing that takes place is that he receives a change of garment from the old raged one to a new one – the best robe.
**There are 3 robes that we are to put on. And the first Robe that we put on is what determines whether we go on to put on the other two robes.
1 - The first robe that we must put on is the garment of the word for our age, and we must ware it upon our soul by faith - In other words, we are to be dressed by the hearing of the word for our age, and the hearing of that word produces a faith in us that dresses our soul – that is the first garment, and it is to be worn on the soul, and that faith comes by hearing the messenger for your age.

I hope He'll crown my ministry with this, of letting me take the clothes of the Word and dress His Bride in the clothes of the Word and for His righteousness.
MATTHEW 22:1-13
1 ¶ And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests (This is your seventh seal again – this is the secret coming of the Lord at the time of the marriage – the Lord himself walking among the ones who have been invited to the wedding by the servants (the 5 fold ministry) - so at the time of the wedding the King himself slips down among them unrecognised), he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: (Notice - it is at the time of the wedding that the first of the three garments is required –this first garment was the deciding factor)
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
This is the tribulation period - Notice it is a time of mercy and judgement, this is the time when the king himself is judging according to the garments, and so the first robe is the robe of the word on your soul, and if you will notice - it was the king himself that had furnished the robes to begin with)
2 - The second Robe is your theophany body.
II CORINTHIANS 5:1-4
1 ¶ For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
REVELATION 3:4-5a
4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
5a He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment;
264-3 SARDISEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.7
They are going to be clothed in white even as He is clothed in white. Peter, James and John saw Him on Mount Transfiguration and His clothes were as white as light. That is how the saints are going to be clothed. Their garments will be shining, exceedingly white.
Transfiguration means to change into another form, to transform. So on Mount Transfiguration, Jesus body was transform into a gloried state showing what he will do to the bride of this last age at the last trump.
3 - The Third Robe is your glorified body.
PHILIPPIANS 3:21
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

78 Then, when a man is born again, from Heaven, he becomes a spirit babe in Christ.
And, then, when this robe of flesh is dropped, there is a natural body, theophany, a body not made with hands, neither born of a woman, that we go to.
Then that body returns back and picks up the glorified body.
That's the reason Jesus went to hell when He died, and preached to the souls that were in prison; turned back into that theophany. Oh, marvelous! Thank God!

324 And from out of this chaos of this modern scientific Eden that we're living in, of culture and--and science and education, all this modern stuff, we'll rise! "This robe of flesh we'll drop, and rise and seize the everlasting prize," someday. We'll go through the air, and this will all be over. For the Word of God that's brought us from the modern thinking of our mind, transforming our mind into the renewing of our hearts towards God, and our spirits; that same Spirit that spoke that, has transformed us this far, and It also will take us into His Presence, into His Glory, with a glorified body.

21 And the thankful part of it, dear friend, that the dear Lord Jesus... You who trust me to tell you the Truth; the dear Lord Jesus, one morning about eight o'clock, let me see that Land. Now, it wasn't--it wasn't a vision; but I don't want to say that. Ever what it was, it was just as real as I'm speaking to you here. Now, I seen the faces of those people, and I couldn't recognize them, they had turned back young again. And they was just real as... I'd hold their hands and things. Just as real...
22 And it helped me, because I used to have an idea: when a person died, just their soul went off. But then when He quoted that to me, that "If this earthly tabernacle of our habitation be... we already have one." See? And we got to have everything in threes, to make a perfection. See? And there's one body here, then that body there which is the--the celestial body, and then the glorified body in the resurrection. See, that makes it complete. See? So it's a... It's not a myth, it's not an idea, it's not a spirit. It is a man and a woman like you are, just exactly.
23 And then, years ago, I seen the regions of the lost, and was there. I tell you, friend, as an old man, let me persuade you this, across the nation this morning, don't never want to view that place. There's no way at all that I could... if I was an artist with a brush I couldn't paint the picture. As a minister, I couldn't describe to you. Talk about hell being a burning place, it's a million times worse than that, the horrors that goes with it.
24 And Heaven... or this place, wherever it was, I don't know what to call it. He referred to it there as "souls under the altar." But when it was, I have never... There's no way to explain how great that is. There is... Now, you just have to take my word, I'm just a man. See? But these visions that's always come to pass just as I have told you, and you know they every one has been true, that is true also. Whatever you do, if you miss everything else (health, strength, your eyesight, whatever it is), don't miss That. There's nothing can compare with it. It's... There's no--there's no word in the English language, that I know, that could express it. If you'd say "perfect," it's beyond that; "superb," it--it's beyond that; "sublime,"... There's no--there's no words that I know that could express it, because it was so... And then, to think, that isn't the end of it yet. I thought, "Me be afraid to come to this?"
25 I said, "Do you eat?"
26 Said, "Not here. We don't eat here, but when we go back to earth we'll receive a body to eat in."
27 Well, I could feel them. They was just like that. See? And they... I said, "Well, you have..." Oh, yes, they have a body. Just not a myth, it's a body. We know one another.
