The Morning and the Evening Sacrifice
EXODUS 29:38-42
38 ¶ Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
39 The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even: (This is known as the morning and the evening sacrifice which was a perpetual daily sacrifice kept according to the Law of Moses. We also want our lives to be a daily sacrifice to the Lord - morning and evening)
40 And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering. (1 hin = approx. 6 litres – so a forth part of a hin is around 1.5 litres of this beaten oil and wine. Notice that all these things speak of Christ – He was the lamb, He was the wheat that was ground into flour, He was the oil of the Holy Spirit, He was the wine of the revelation of the word – so we know that our sacrifice is to include these things)
41 And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD. (The morning sacrifice is to be repeated again in the evening time)
42 This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.
God has a provided place to meet the believer, and that is where the Lamb, and the wheat, and the oil, and the wine are combined and connected with your sacrifice.
The Morning and the Evening Sacrifice

E-33 …Everything in the Bible points to Christ. You can't pick a thing in the Bible but what goes to Christ. And the first mother, the first lamb from the old mother ewe. And so then, he's to be... kept him up fourteen days. He was to be examined, wasn't a blemish on him. And he was to be killed in the evening. Did you notice it?
Christ wasn't killed in the morning. They took Him in the morning, and hung Him on the cross at nine o'clock; but it was in the evening before He died. Is that right? And watch, this lamb must be killed by all of Israel, and the elders must come around and witness to this sacrificial lamb. Perfect type of Christ how that they all said, "Away with Him, we'll take Barabbas. But we'll let loose Barabbas and take Jesus." (We know that in this evening time, the whole of the denominational world have crucified this same Christ again in word form)
E-34 All of Israel laid their hands to Jesus. He was a perfect lamb. He was tried. Was He tried? Yes, He was tried; everything tried Him.
**“Evening Time” represents the end of this world of which as believers we know is the time that we are living in right now.
*Since man’s unbelief of the word in the Garden of Eden we have seen nothing but the suffering of man continually for 6 thousand long years. There has been a continual perpetual cycle of wars and strife’s and suffering and death as a result of Man’s separation from God. But at the evening time it is promised that this six thousand year period of man’s suffering will come to an end under the seventh seal of this evening time hour where the seventh seal marks the end of man’s struggling nature.
That is why Brother Branham was looking for that seventh dove – he knew that that would be the sign that his suffering was about to end. Noah looked for that dove also just before he entered into the new earth. The dove is Christ; the seventh seal is also Christ.
MATTHEW 13:38-40
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

555-6 {229} Now, we'll turn now to the 8th verse of the--or the 1st verse, I mean, of the 8th chapter, of Revelations 8:1. (I know you're tired. Now, just try to listen just for a few minutes now. And God of heaven help us, is my prayer.)
We must remember that this Seventh Seal is the end of time of all things. That's right. The things written in the Seven Seal Book (sealed up of the plan of redemption from before the foundation of the world), it every bit ends. It is the end; it is the end of the struggling world. It's the end of struggling nature. It's the end of everything. In there is the end of the trumpets. It's the end of the vials. It's the end of the earth. It's the...It's even the end of time. Time runs out; the Bible said so.
Matthew the 7th chapter--I mean Revelations the 7th chap--10th chapter and the--and 1 to the 7th verse. Time runs out. The angel said, "Time will be no more," when that--in the days of this great thing to happen. Everything runs out in this time, the end of the--of the--at the end of this Seventh Seal.
556-2 {233} Notice, it's the end of the church age. It's the--the end of the Seven Seals. It's the end of the trumpets. It's the end of the vials, and even ends the ushering in of the millennium; that's on the Seventh Seal.
It's just like firing a rocket into the air, and that rocket explodes here, and it goes up, then it explodes again. It puts out five stars. One of those stars explodes and blows out five stars from it; and then one of them stars explodes, blows out five stars from it (See?); it fades on out. That's what the Seventh Seal; it just ends the time for the world. It ends the time for this. It means the time for that. It ends the time for this. It ends the time... Everything just ended up on that Seventh Seal.
*Notice that under these seals are revealed the different categories of life.
The seventh seal is Christ revealing himself to His end time bride (we have seen the seventh dove also), the seventh trumpet is Christ revealing Himself to the Jews, the vials is the judgements to be poured out upon the unbelievers – all these things are to be completed at this time of the opening and the revealing of these seals which is the time we are living in now.
**So if God is going to meet with us in this hour, then we have to be able to present the right sacrifice at this evening time hour – the “Evening Sacrifice”. Only in that provided place will he meet with us and speak with us.
EXODUS 29:42
42 This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.
For seven church ages there was place for each age where God would speak to the people by the word for that age – and God would only meet and speak with them from that place only.

180 You say, "Every morning I enter the Methodist gate." That's the church. "Every morning I go into the Catholic gate." Uh-huh. Well, the Lord let His people go in and out them gates. God's got people in the Catholic church, Methodist church, Presbyterian church, all of them, Pentecostals. Sure, but don't... you don't worship the Lord in that gate. See? But the Lord has a certain gate. Glory! He has a gate.
But at the place which the LORD thy God... choose to place his name in, there... shall thou sacrifice the passover at evening,...
181 When did Rebekah find Isaac? When did Eliezer call her to be the bride? Evening time!
It shall be Light about the evening time,
The way to Glory you will surely find;
In that water way is the Light today,
Buried in the precious Name of Jesus;
Young and old, repent of all your sins,
The Holy Ghost will surely enter in;
The evening Lights have come,
It is a fact that God and Christ are one.
The evening light is Christ revealing himself to you personally by the restored truth of the message of the hour – that is where he meets you in this hour, and that is how he speaks to you in this hour; it is by the restored word of this hour that the person of the word is revealed to you personally. Six thousand years of Man’s suffering has been waiting for this seventh dove to appear and to lead us into a new world.
**We know that at the first Exodus there was an evening sacrifice at the time of when the Token was required by God under the instruction of the Exodus prophet Moses. And this was at the same time of when the death angel of judgement was in the land and where the lamb that was killed had to be eaten in hast just like what we are doing in this age with the lamb of the word of this hour that the denominations have killed in this day.
***Remember – the Lamb of God has been killed again in this evening time age by the denominations who by their creed and dogma and man-made traditions have killed the effects of the word to the people, and yet we are eating on this same slain lamb at this evening time that they have killed.
**Like the first Exodus - we are also about to leave Egypt to go to another land, and it is this slain lamb of this evening time hour that we are feeding on.
***By eating this word that has been interpreted for this day, we are being identified with the evening sacrifice of this hour.
DEUTERONOMY 16:5-7
5 Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee: (these gates in this day are the denominational churches)
6 But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
7 And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:

269 ...I wasn't the One that appeared down on the river; I was only standing there when He appeared. I'm not the One that performs these things and foretells these things that happens as perfect they are; I'm only one that's near when He does it. I was only a voice that He used, to say It. It wasn't what I knew; it's what I just surrendered myself to, that He spoke through. It isn't me, it wasn't the seventh angel, oh, no; it was the manifestation of the Son of man. It wasn't the angel, his message; it was the mystery that God unfolded. It's not a man; it's God. The angel was not the Son of man; he was the messenger from the Son of man. The Son of man is Christ; He is the One that you're feeding on. You're not feeding on a man; a man, his words will fail. But you're feeding on the unfailing Body-Word of the Son of man.
***Let us look at this evening time sacrifice a little deeper to really see what this sacrifice looks like in this hour.

E-27 And it was in the evening time when he come to the well near the city. And it was about that time that Rebekah had to make a decision. I believe the Angel of the Lord beat him there about a half hour. For He will send His Angels before you, then makes the way clear. And it must have been the Angel of God that spoke to Rebekah's heart, said, "Go get the water." And Rebekah came to the Water of Life at the evening time.
You get the picture? It's the Church in the last days, the evening time. The evening lights are here. It's the time that the Angel of the Lord in a supernatural, is revealing Himself to the Rebekah, the Bride of Isaac. And somehow or another, She's moved to go to the Waters of Life. Amen. Oh, my heart is turning over with joy. I can hardly preach when I think of that. The evening time is come. The Angel of the Lord's in the Message, goes forth and woos the Rebekah to come to the Waters of Life. Moving of the supernatural...

156 How that Rebekah watered that camel in the cool of the evening. Eliezer didn't find her in the morning. He never found her at noontime; he found her in the evening light. "It shall be Light in the evening time." Right. That's where he found her.
Notice here that he also found her willing to serve and to sacrifice her time and energy to be of service and sacrifice to this great purpose of God of what Eliezer had been commissioned to for that hour by watering the very camels that would carry her home to meet her unseen bridegroom.

347-3 {97} …Notice, Rebekah, when--a--when the--the servant of Abraham, Eliezer, when he came to get Rebekah, she--he mounted her up on a camel, the very camel she watered. And she rode this camel to meet her unseen bridegroom. The very thing she watered was the thing that took her to her future home and husband.
348-1 {100} And it's the same thing today. See? The very thing that the Church is watering, that is the Seed, the Seed of the Word; it's the very Word that becomes alive and carries us to our unseen Bridegroom. See? The... See?
And look how perfectly. Isaac had left the home and was out in the field away from his home when Rebekah saw him; and the Church meets Christ in the air, and then He takes Her back into the home--Father's home where the mansions are prepared. Isaac took Rebekah the same way.
***So when we look at the sacrifice of Rebekah at the evening time, and we look at the sacrifice of Ruth working in the field of Boaz at harvest time, and then we look at the sacrifice of Elijah on Mt Carmel at evening time, and Abraham’s sacrifice at the evening time, and the sacrifice of the 1st Exodus people at the evening time of when the evening time lamb was slain, and the daily evening time sacrifice of the Lamb. All these sacrifices are showing us something of the entire bride body sacrifice that is taking place in this hour under this great evening time light of this message.
GENESIS 15:8-12
8 And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.
11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. (The fowls are the unclean spirits that try to come and contaminate the word of this hour by false teachings, so as Abraham’s children we are to also drive them away by preaching the truth of the word that God has given us in this hour)
12 ¶ And when the sun was going down (Notice – evening time), a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.
*So we can see by all of these things that there is an evening time sacrifice that we are called to be a part of in this hour.
***We are to labour in Boaz’s field, we are to water the camels, we are to keep pouring water on the sacrifice like Elijah did, we are to eat the word of this hour as they ate the lamb at the evening time at the first Exodus, we are to keep shooing away the unclean birds like Abraham did. There is a work and a sacrifice that the bride of Christ is being identified with in this hour.
We can’t all do the whole job ourselves – but as individuals we can be identified with as much of these things as we can by being a part of the body of Christ as a genuine believer that feeds on the word of this hour. That in itself takes sacrifice in this hour.
*The evening sacrifice not just the bridegroom, it is also the bride.
*Being in the word during the week
*Being faithful to a message church in your support and tithing
*Being in fellowship with Christ and keeping your garments clean
*Being sincere with the things of the Lord, feeding on the word of this hour with truth and sincerity
***All these things – The lamb which is the word of this hour, the wheat of the bread of life, the Oil of the spirit, the wine of the stimulation of the revelation of the word. All these things are a part of this evening time sacrifice of this evening time hour.
