II CORINTHIANS 4:3
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The Woman under the Palm Tree Pt.2
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
The blinding of minds to the truth of the word of God has always been at the centre of where the battle has been fought.
War started in heaven when Lucifer blinded the minds of a third of the angels with his beauty and big political speeches of revolt against God.
He blinded the mind of Eve in Eden, and in this generation he has blinded the minds of the people of the entire world of religious and non-religious people to the truth of the word that has been restored in this generation.
The story of Deborah and Barack in chapter 4 of the book of Judges is repeated again in poetic form in chapter 5. And so things are injected in chapter 5 that help fill in parts of the story in chapter 4.
Also we notice that in this story there are two woman, a Jewish woman (Deborah) at the beginning and a gentile woman (Jael) who is responsible for destroying the general Sisera at the end, so this represents the church of seven church ages that predominantly began with the Jewish people and ends with the gentile people in this last age.
All these details are important for us to see the real meaning of this story. Barack represents the leader of the true army of the Lord which is Christ – that is why it is the bride in this age that bring about the last victory of the defeat of Satan by her faith in the word against the wisdom of Lucifer in this age.
JUDGES 4:1-14
1 ¶ And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.
This is the cycle of sin that is repeated right through the book of Judges.
First – Israel serves the Lord
- Then Israel falls into sin and idol worship
- Then Israel is enslaved and becomes impoverished
- Then Israel cries out to the Lord
- Then God raises up a Judge
- Then Israel is delivered.
- Then after another generation they repeat the whole process again.
This is a cycle of nations as well.
Look how America began as a Christian nation serving the Lord, but after a generation or two they have left the Lord and they have become enslaved and are now becoming impoverished.
This can also be the pattern with people as well
2 And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor; the captain of whose host was Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
3 And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD: for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.
4 ¶ And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.
5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.
6 And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the LORD God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
(Notice that she is telling him what the word of the Lord had already spoken to him – in other words, she had received the same revelation of the word of what Barak had been giving directly by God)
7 And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.
8 And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go. (It was not that he was scared to go without Deborah as many people think that this scripture is implying, he was a man of war, and he didn’t need a woman to give him courage as such, but it was that he was operating according to the vision and the revelation that he had received – victory for this last battle is to come by both the man and the woman – both Christ and his bride will be victorious over the devil, and that is also the vision and prophecy for this hour)
9 And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
(It was a great dishonour in those days for a fighting man of any rank to be killed by a woman)
10 ¶ And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet: and Deborah went up with him.
11 Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in law of Moses, had severed himself from the Kenites, and pitched his tent unto the plain of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh.
12 And they shewed Sisera that Barak the son of Abinoam was gone up to mount Tabor.
13 And Sisera gathered together all his chariots, even nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people that were with him, from Harosheth of the Gentiles unto the river of Kishon. (His pride and his confidence was in his iron chariots, his advance military strength, just like America and many other nations have become in this day – they don’t trust in God anymore, they trust in their own military might. But notice as our story goes along how that Sisera failed to defeat Israel with all of his military strength with his 900 iron chariots and an army of maybe around 200 thousand men, but then God in response defeats him by a single woman and one iron tent peg)
14 And Deborah said unto Barak, Up; for this is the day in which the LORD hath delivered Sisera into thine hand: is not the LORD gone out before thee? So Barak went down from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
Deborah was a prophetess, and so she knew what the future outcome would be according to the revelation of what God had showed her for that hour, just as the bride of this hour knows what the future is going to be under the prophetic anointing of this age – we have also been told the outcome for his hour.
REVELATION 19:11-15
11 ¶ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. (This is Christ, and this also represents Barack)
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. (That is the bride dressed in the robes of His righteousness – this represents Deborah – so notice Christ and His Bride, a woman and a man fighting together at the last battle – this is Barack and Deborah coming against an army of scientifically advance military weapons)
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
REVELATION 19:19-20
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast (Where was the mark? In the forehead. Where is a person deceived? In their forehead - their minds. So here are the ones in this age who were blinded in their minds by Lucifer), and them that worshipped his image (Blindness in the mind leads to false worship – Lucifer had deceived the whole world into worshiping him – that is why denominations think they are worshiping God when they are actually worshiping Lucifer, many people find that hard to accept, but it is because they have rejected the truth of the word of what God has sent in this generation by the seventh angel’s message – you cannot reject the word and then expect God to receive your worship at the same time). These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Only this type of fire will annihilate both body and soul – your first death only annihilates the body, but the second death annihilates both body and soul)
**The war that began in heaven ends on the earth with Lucifer losing the battle to Christ and a woman called the bride of Christ.
***Remember that the bride of this hour defeats Lucifer in this battle against him trying to deceive her in her mind – that is where the battle is fought in this hour, it is the greatest battle ever fought.
**The deception and the battle is always to do with the word of God verses the wisdom of the reasoning of man against the word - wisdom verses faith in the word of God.
JUDGES 4:15-21
15 And the LORD discomfited Sisera (Sisera = "battle array". He was the head of this scientifically advance military force who had iron chariots and weapons and guided missiles, and steal armoured tanks – Sisera was the mastermind behind all of this. He was the one who had been given the key that opened up the bottomless pit of scientific knowledge to unlock the 4th dimension so that he could channel hell into this dimension that we are living in now, this was none other than Lucifer), and all his chariots (not wooden chariots, but steal chariots, advanced military weapons and transportation systems, showing the hour that we are living in now), and all his host with the edge of the sword before Barak; so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot, and fled away on his feet. (All of his scientific education that enabled him to mix alloys and come up with different recipes of steal to make weapons – it all came to nought against Barak and Deborah)
16 But Barak pursued after the chariots, and after the host, unto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the host of Sisera fell upon the edge of the sword; and there was not a man left.
17 ¶ Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feet to the tent of Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite (Notice again – another married woman, and a gentile woman, a type of the gentile bride in this last day): for there was peace between Jabin the king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
18 And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.
19 And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.
20 Again he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any man here? that thou shalt say, No. (See how the devil wants you to hide him unnoticed in your “tent” and then get you to deny that he’s in there so he can stay undetected)
21 Then Jael Heber's wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into his temples, and fastened it into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died.
Notice where she brought about the destruction of the enemy? In her tent, and your tent is your flesh because that is where you dwell.
Paul in II CORINTHIANS 5:1 ¶ For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. This word “Tabernacle” = “Tent”
And also notice where this gentile woman Jael dealt the death blow to the enemy, it was in his forehead, his thinking, the source of where all the evil of where that military might that had oppressed Israel for 20 years. She defeated him in her tent by dealing a death blow to the headship of where his thoughts proceeded from.
And look what she use, she used a common old tent peg, and a tent peg is what anchors the tent to the ground so it won’t blow away in the wind, and that’s what the word of God does also, it anchor your soul so you won’t be blown away by every wind of false doctrine.
So if we are to be this gentile woman Jael in this hour, then we are also to destroy Satan in his thoughts by driving the tent peg of the revelation of the word right to where he is trying to reason with us against the word of God for this hour.
JUDGES 5:19-20
19 The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
The word “Armageddon” in Revelation 16:16 is a Hebrew place-name meaning Mount or Hill of Megiddo, it was known for its strategic location. And so it was by the waters of Megiddo where Deborah and Barak fought against Sierra’s advanced military force, and it will be at the battle of Armageddon where Christ and his Bride defeat the advanced scientific armies of this world in order to bring peace for the millennium that is to come.
20 They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
The Stars of heaven that were not blinded and deceived by Lucifer in their minds and that kept their first estate, these are the stars that fought in this battle, and this is not just angles, this is people, because the war that started in heaven ends up on earth in people at the battle of Armageddon.
**So if you are to represent Deborah in this hour, then before you can go with Barak to Armageddon to fight, you have to first be under a palm tree with a prophetic anointing and with the word of the Lord of and knowing what is going to take place next.

550 Now listen close, "fallen angels." What kind of angels? Luther, Wesley, Catholic, Pentecostals, who kept not their first estate like the Angels did, and has fell into organization, like Lucifer's main hold at Nicaea. (Notice - fallen stars, he is talking about denominational people. In other words, what Lucifer did in heaven by deceiving a third of the angels and causing them to disbelieve the word of God thus causing them to fall from their position, Satan has done the same thing on earth with human beings – denominational ministers. Fallen stars at war with stars that have not fallen from the word) And what have they done? Organized a great ecumenical association of ministers, to make "an image unto the beast," as the Bible said. And building a Christian economy that'll close the doors of this church and others like it. See Lucifer at his work?

56 I'll say something here, maybe I oughtn't to say, but yet I believe I ought to say it.
57 If you noticed, Lucifer is exactly doing the same thing, today, that he did at the beginning. See? Lucifer, at the beginning, wanted to build himself a kingdom which was greater and more beautiful than Michael's kingdom, Christ. He, that was his ambitions, to achieve something like that. And what did he get to do it by? He took fallen angels who had lost their first estate. He took that to do it with.
58 And, today, Lucifer has got into the church, and taken away the Word, and injected denomination. And he is building a church, the ecumenical move that's going on now, to unite all the protestants together, and altogether come into Catholic. And this pope they got in now, to do the same thing, exactly what the Scripture said it would do. And what's he doing it by? He is doing it by man of those great ecumenical moves, who does not know God; and the many of them in the Pentecostals, 'cause they're doing the same. What is it? He is doing it with fallen angels, fallen Lutherans, fallen Methodists, fallen Pentecostals, and lost their original estate from the Word of God, and going right back in to make a great big ecumenical move. Fallen messengers, messengers who once stayed with the Word, but sold out their birthrights and joined in with the world. The same thing, it's at the last day. And their Lu-... And Lucifer is achieving today, by man with those spirits in them, that he did with angels at the beginning, fallen angels who kept not their first estate to obey God. And he is doing the same thing today.
HEBREWS 11:31-32
31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. (We are not of those who believe not in this hour – we are of those who believe, and who have kept our position of faith in the revelation of what God has sent in this hour, and that is what makes all the difference between the two groups.
***And that is what made the difference with Barak, he had the faith of Christ in the revelation of the events of the prophetic ministry for that day, the word for that hour, and that was the same word that Deborah had, because right through this story, Barak and Deborah were both in perfect harmony together, one could not go without the other, showing us that Christ and his bride would be together in full agreement in this hour also)
32 ¶ And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
Notice how that Barak is mentioned in the heroes of faith because of his faith in the revelation of the hour for that time.
