A Disobedient and Gainsaying People Pt.2
II PETER 3:3-5
3 ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? (This word “promise” in the Greek is the word “message” (“the message of his second coming”), so these are people who once believed in the message of His second coming but are now beginning to scoff and to question the message that they once believed – they are falling from their first estate of what they first believed) for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of (they are not willing to search it deep enough in the revelation of what God has sent in these last days to learn about the coming of Christ in this hour – they are just “simple” message believers, so they remain ignorant and begin to come up with their own ideas and reasoning against the word because they had never been established in the present truth of this hour – this word “ignorant” means “to be hidden from one”), that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
ROMANS 10:20-21
20 But Esaias is very bold (Esaias is the prophet Isaiah), and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. (That is speaking of a future time when the gentiles would received the message of Christ gladly after that the Jews as a nation had rejected the message of Christ for their day)
21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
As the Jews rejected the message of Christ and refused to come out of the denominations of their day, the message of that day was given to the Gentiles who received it gladly, and so it has repeated in these last days that the message of Christ that was preached by the seventh angel of this hour has in this day been rejected by the Gentile religious world, and so the truth of this hour will now be passed over to the Jews – the 144,000, who will receive it gladly. The disobedient are the unbelievers while the gainsayers are the ones who came out in partial faith and then went on to disbelieve.

II PETER 3:3-5a
3 ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? (this is one of the first real signs that we are closing in for the final stages of the rapturing of the bride – This word “promise” in the Greek means the “message” of his second coming.
Notice that this is not speaking about unbelievers questioning the message of the hour, unbelievers don’t even believe the message of the prophet of God concerning the second coming of the Lord for this hour anyway, so these are message believers that once were associated with the message but who are now questioning and doubting and promoting questions against the message of what God has sent in this hour regarding His second coming – and look at their weak argument) for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (This is the excuse that they think justifies their argument in that they say that the prophecies of the prophet’s (and especially this last gentile prophet) have failed to come to pass according to their interpretation)
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, (It is not that the message of the hour doesn’t go deep enough to open the truths regarding the coming of the Lord in this day, it is that these ones are not willing to go deep enough with the message - they love to makes statements like that it is just a simple message, and that it is a personal walk – and it is simple when it is revealed to you, and it is a personal walk, but it is also a marriage relationship in this hour and not a schoolgirl courtship)
***We have been dealing a little with this subject of “Hold Fast till I Come”.
***We know that what caused the fall of man was that Eve failed to hold fast to the word that she was given to hold to for her day. The early church also failed to hold fast to the word that was given for their day.
But in this hour, we are called to hold to every word of promise that has been given for this day – we don’t doubt one word in this hour or we will be like the first Eve was again.
*We believe in the promise of Christ and his bride becoming one in this hour – the headstone uniting with the body, the promise of a super church and the third pull, the promise of a body change like Abraham and Sarah, we believe in the rapture and marriage supper of the lamb and his wife, and the honey moon that is to follow in the millennium – all these things we know to be true because the one who promised it is able to keep all of his promises.
So we have been promised all these things – and we are to believe and hold fast to every word.

122 Now I want you to notice, He does it that way in every age. He does it every time by the same method, He has to take believers. And then, in order to have believers to meet that Word, He's got to predestinate it to that age…
***If you have truly seen the message for this day, then that can only be because God before the foundation of the world had ordained you to see it, and so he had you born into this age to receive the word for this age so that you could meet the challenge for this age. The message of this hour equips you for the challenge of this hour.
When He predestinates anything to happen and says it will happen, He knows that seed will be there just at that time. He predestinated a Bride, She's going to be there! Going to be a Rapture, She's going to be there! He predestinates it by His foreknowledge. See, there's nothing going to stop it.
**From last week we learnt that you must be able to recognise and identify the word being fulfilled in your own life because the word of this hour must become your experience in the story of your own personal life because in the volume of the book (the bible) it is written of the pattern of your life in the story of Ruth, and Rebecca, and Abraham and Sarah, and Esther, and Rahab, and Abigale, and many others… The pattern of the story of your life is written in those stories of the Bible just as Christ’s life was also.
*You came out of Egypt of the denominational system by the leadership of an exodus prophet just like the story of the Exodus in the bible.
*You’ve come in to glean in Boaz’s field at harvest time while the head reaper introduce you to the Lord of the harvest – Boaz which is Christ in this hour.
*Like Rahab, you have received the message of what the tape boys came with from Joshua, and you have come to believe in the same God, and you are assisting in the advancement of the promise of God in this hour just before the judgments are about to strike.
As the prophet told the story of the little boy that saw himself in the mirror for the first time – “mama, that’s me”. This is how you come to know who you are because the book reveals the mystery of your life in the book, and that shows that your name is written in the book, and when you see your name written in the bible, then that takes away the amnesia so that you can remember who you are.
**God predestinated your life for this hour to perform and fulfil certain parts of his word for this time just the same way that he predestinated William Branham’s life for this day to perform certain parts of the word that he was to live out for this time.
**Last week I mentioned that how it always amazes me with all the attempts to assassinate Hitler (more than 18 in total), it was almost like he was invincible, because the scriptures had to be fulfilled in that a third of the Jewish population had to die in the holocaust according to the prophecy of the scriptures. We know that if any of the attempts on Hitler’s life had been successful, then that scripture would not have been completed in its fulfilment. So it is impossible to stop the prophecy of the word from being fulfilled.
So if gainsayers are prophesied to arise against the Exodus prophet and the exodus people of this hour – then there will have to be a people to fulfil that part of the prophecy, so we as the bride need to watch these things and know what is happening in this hour by the what has been prophesied for this hour.
II PETER 3:3-4
3 ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

**Brother Branham told us that in the book of Jude that there were some deeper things in this book that we need to learn about regarding the gainsaying of Korah.

I'm afraid I'll get too deep if I try to get into the Book of Jude here, because it's on the "gainsaying of Korah" and--and "running after the error of Balaam, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah," which probably take us a long time. I want to pray for the sick that's here this morning...
JUDE 1:5-6
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. (These are the same people who came out under the ministry of an exodus prophet)
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
These people failed to hold fast to the truth of what they had originally been given. They fell from their first estate – your estate is your original domain of the position of what God has placed you in the truth for your age.
JUDE 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain (Remember from our message of the other week - Cain wanted God to accept his religious sacrifice that was contrary to the revelation for that hour, and God rejected it, just as the denominations of this day want God to accept their false forms of worship – and God has also rejected it in this day), and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward (Balaam was hungry for the dollars – he loved the money, the money was more important to him than staying true to the word of God – and we know how that ended), and perished in the gainsaying of Core. (Korah was the one who withstood the exodus prophet of that day saying that he and the others were just as good as Moses – God didn’t like that, and we know what happen of how the earth open up and swallowed them all down – you watch people that leave this message because of the gainsaying of Korah in this day – the earth (worldliness) eventually swallows them up.
JUDE 1:17-21
17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
I THESSALONIANS 5:21
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

61 Now, it is possible that staunch Christians, fine people, hold sometimes, hold to the wrong thing, thinking it is right. But then these things should be proven, whether they are "right" or "wrong." And it's the duty of all of us, as we are expecting to go to Heaven when Jesus comes. And it's the minister's duty, when any question is brought up, that he solves this out, and then proves it before the people, that they might understand, because no one wants to be found "wrong," holding to the wrong thing.
62 So we have a Scripture (and Jesus said, "all Scriptures must be fulfilled") that we should prove all things. And then, "hold fast," or, "hold tight, get a death-grip on it. And don't turn it loose, hold fast to that which is good."
67 Now we see another one, then you, no doubt, have heard them say, "Seeing is believing." That's another old proverb we have here, but that doesn't work either. It doesn't work, 'cause man can sit and look right straight at anything and they'll not see it. The word "see," the English word "see" has so many different meanings to it. Sea might mean "a body of water." And see might mean "to understand." See might mean "to look at it." And, oh, there's just all kinds of words you can use. But when you say, "seeing is believing," you're mistaken. (There is this new thing come out called “Deepfake” where they can take your profile and face and make a video of you doing or saying anything that they want you to say)
68 When you understand it, you believe it. Jesus said, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom," in other words, "understand the Kingdom," because the Kingdom is the Holy Spirit in you. So you have to understand what this is in you. And the only way you'll understand it, is compare what it makes you do with what the Bible said it would make you do. Then your problem's solved, see. And, then, He is that Holy Spirit.
122 Now I want you to notice, He does it that way in every age. He does it every time by the same method, He has to take believers. And then, in order to have believers to meet that Word, He's got to predestinate it to that age. You see it? He's got to predestinate this thing to be there to meet the challenge of the age. Did it get you? Did you feel it? Did you see it? Do you understand it? That's what's happening today, He predestinated it to this, by His foreknowledge. When He predestinated, in Malachi 4, it's got to happen. When He come over and predestinates anything to happen in His Word, He had to prove His Word to be so. When He predestinates anything to happen and says it will happen, He knows that seed will be there just at that time. He predestinated a Bride, She's going to be there! Going to be a Rapture, She's going to be there! He predestinates it by His foreknowledge. See, there's nothing going to stop it.

E-26 … There was a man one time by the name of Korah. He raised up and said, "Now, wait a minute. There's just as many prophets and holy men as there is Moses. Moses is not the only one."
God said to Moses, "Separate yourself from him." And He opened up the earth and swallowed him in.
The Bible predicts that in the last days that same thing will take place, and they'll perish in the gainsaying of Korah. That's right. That's the Scripture.

See? What is it that did that? Fallen angels.
549 The Bible said it was fallen angels who listened to Lucifer instead of Christ, Who they once belonged to. Is that right? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.]
550 Now listen close, "fallen angels." What kind of angels? Luther, Wesley, Catholic, Pentecostals, who kept not their first estate like the Angels did, and has fell into organization, like Lucifer's main hold at Nicaea. And what have they done? Organized a great ecumenical association of ministers, to make "an image unto the beast," as the Bible said. And building a Christian economy that'll close the doors of this church and others like it. See Lucifer at his work?
551 I'm trying to bring you the threefold revelation, or mystery of God.
552 What did they do? Sold out to reasonings of wisdom and education, like Eve did, fallen angels did. Wesley was a man of God; but what followed him? Fallen angels got into it. What was the angels, first? Creative beings of God, but fell for Lucifer's wisdom, fell for Lucifer--Lucifer's wisdom. And you see what they become? Fallen angels. And organizations, from men of God who has went forth to establish Truths in the earth; before that Truth could go on and proclamate and get on to the real revelation of Christ, fallen angels come in and took it over and made denominations out of it.
553 That's the reason the revelation of the Seven-Seal mystery had to be unfolded.
554 Now you see it? What they left off! If Luther would have went on, it'd have been here. If Wesley would have went on, if Pentecost would have went on, what would they'd done?
555 Now there is only one thing can happen. There has to be a Message at the end time, when there is nothing else can follow It. And now the ecumenical world has set up such a regime that there can be no denomination and no not nothing else follow it; you're either in it or you're not in it. The fruit is in the top of the tree, and the Light is shining on that predestinated fruit. And she is ripening into Christ-like fruit, bringing forth the same mellowness and sweetness, and the same Spirit that He had in Him.
***The same spirit that dwelt in Christ that fulfilled the scriptures pertaining to his life is also to be in us to fulfil the scriptures pertaining to the bride of this hour.
**When we see these mockers and scoffers and disobedient to the word and gainsayers arise in this hour, we know that we are in a season of prophecy that cannot be reversed, and we also know our position in relation to that prophecy of who we are and what part of the word we are call to manifest in this hour. We know that soon the resurrection must take place and the promise of the body change must be fulfilled just as Abraham and Sarah were turned back young again.
**I am looking for that, and you are looking for that, and that is what God will prove in this hour. He will prove His word truth in this hour by bringing it to pass in your life and in my life.
