Jericho and the Two Hiding Places
JOSHUA 3:14-15
14 ¶ And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;
15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)
We notice again that this was after the death of Moses and at harvest time, (that is where we are at today) and we see that a people of God who had been promised an inheritance were now coming in to possess that inheritance of what God had promised them way back there from the beginning of their journey. So God is showing us in this hour what we are to also face, and their first challenge was Jericho, and Jericho was a type of the world in this hour.
JOSHUA 6:17-19
17 ¶ And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.
18 And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.
There would be a time later that God would allow them to prosper from the spoils, but this was going to be a test for them just like it is a test for us today.
JOSHUA 7:1
1 ¶ But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel.
Jericho and the Two Hiding Places
There were two people in Jericho at harvest time (and at the time that Jericho was under judgement) that hid things of what they both believed would advance them in life for their future blessing. These two people were Rahab and Achan, and they were both message believers of the prophet that God had sent for that hour – so if we are going to look for Rahab and Achan today, we would have to look within the ranks of the message believers of this hour.

JOSHUA 3:14-17
14 ¶ And it came to pass, when the people removed from their tents, to pass over Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people; (Notice that the priests are always involved with the journey of the people in order for them to advance, they are always carrying the word because their leadership is by the word and you can’t advance outside of the word for your age leading you - that is why you need the 5 fold ministry in this hour, because that is the pattern in the bible. The ministry is given to you by God so that you can advance)
15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,) (We know that we are also in the harvest time at the end of the world because they were also at harvest time at the end of when Jericho would be destroyed, and Jericho represents the world (Babylon), and this time at the end of the world was also the time when a specific people would cross over into an inheritance of “everywhere that your feet tread upon will be your possession”.
Salvation is our possession, healing is our possession, peace in the mist of the storm is our possession, rapturing faith is our possession, revelation of the word is our possession, the salvation of our loved ones is our possession (just like we saw with Rahab), everywhere we go in this new land of the revealed word of this hour is given to us for a possession, but we will have to fight to possess it)
16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho. (Jericho is the first thing that they face immediately after crossing over into the Promised Land)
17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.
Notice again - The first thing that the children of God faced after the death of Moses, and after crossing the Jorden was Jericho.
Last week we showed how that Rahab received the message of that hour and hid the messengers of the message in her house, and that act of her showing respects and also protecting that ministry that Joshua (a type of the Holy Spirit) had sent to her, we know that God made that same place where she hid the messengers the very same place that she was also protected from the oncoming storms of judgement, and that was in her house.
We know that every man, woman, and child in Jericho were destroyed under cataclysmic judgement just like we saw in the days of Noah, but Rahab and her loved ones were safe because of what she had hidden in her house, it was what she had hidden that made all the difference, and we know that these events are also prophesied to take place again in this age. So it is very important what we hide in our house.
JAMES 2:24-26
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
What did Rahab hide in her house? The messengers with the message of God for that hour – she hid the word of the hour in her house.
Rahab’s actions proved her faith. That’s why some people can say they believe the message of the hour, but if they do, then they will do like Rahab did and receive and protect the ministries that God sends to them for their advancement. Notice that this was all taking place after the death of a prophet with two signs that led an Exodus.
And we can know what part of the story we are living out in this hour by what has already been written in this story because the word is identifying each person in this hour by the way they are acting in relation to this prophecy.
We must take the current event and let the word make it clear by the prophecy of what has already been written in the word.
****We know that there are seven church ages; we call them church ages because an age is a period of time. In other words, over the last 2000 years that God has been dealing with the gentiles, there have been 7 periods of time that God called out seven groups of his elected people under the leadership of seven men, or if we were talking in Old Testament language we would say that these people were numbered under the “heads of their tribes”.
These seven Church age groups under their “tribe” leaders are the groups of which Jesus said that he would not lose even one.
LUKE 15:3-4
3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
God would be incomplete if he lost just one of these because each one is an eternal attribute and thought of God that was to be expressed in their season, so for God to lose one would be for God to lose a part of his eternal thought.
JOHN 6:38-39
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
This raising up is the first resurrection of which the seven gentile church age “tribes” under their messengers (heads of their tribes) will be raised up and not a single person will be missing, and we today under our tribe leader (the prophet that God send in this day) are the last ones to recognise our messenger and message and to finish that complete group.
The last one has to come in and recognise their day and its message for this hour – that is what we are working hard to achive.

E-11 If God willing, I'm giving a try now of evangelism. We know the revival's over. Everyone knows that. I predicted that back in '56 when it would started ending. Billy Graham come back, and Tommy Osborn, and them. I said, "This is it. America will receive it or reject it this year." And they rejected it. We're nothing waiting but judgment. Now (like Jericho), you mark that down and see if Brother Branham's right or not. That's THUS SAITH THE LORD. We're headed for it, and we're going to pay for what we've done. We got too much glamour in the church, and Hollywood and everything. God's sick and tired of it. The last one will come in after while, and that'll be it.
NUMBERS 26:51-55
51 These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
52 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
53 Unto these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names. (We read this scripture a few weeks back, and we know that all those that died in the wilderness because of their unbelief of the message of that hour, their names were blotted out of the book, so this numbered group here is the new group of the names that were to go over into the new land and be given their portion of the inheritance.
***So we can see that every name had to be revealed at the time of the ministry of Moses for the purpose for those people to go into and receive their inheritance – if there was no numbering and naming, then there could be no inheritance given and possessed – so that is very important that we understand that because that will also help us to understand the opening of the seven seals because that was why they had to open in order to reveal the number of the names before the inheritance of what Adam lost in Eden could be given back to man again)
54 To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him. (Remember that the opening of the word revealed the names of the elect in this hour and also placed each “Tribe” of the seven church ages who were under their messenger in their correct portion of the land.
And now in this end time age, the elected ones of this hour are to come into an even greater advancement of the inheritance because of the complete title deed that has been given back to a people in this hour – but this inheritance is not going to be taken without some battles – and that is where many are slow to possess their inheritance because you will have to fight for every inch of it)
55 Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit. (According to Paul’s tribe, and Irenaeus’s tribe, and St. Martin, and Columba, and Luther, and Wesley, and Branham – all these were the leaders of their tribes that were numbered for an inheritance of a portion of the land)
Notice - Each person under their leader and tribe were to inherit, in other words, you had to be connected with a tribe or you weren’t in the numbered and you couldn’t inherit - you couldn’t just be an individual by yourself.

E-69 …Just then a voice said, "In the Bible where it's said that Jacob was gathered with his people and the other one; this is liken unto that, where you'll gather with your--where you will gather with your people."
… And I said, "Will Saint Paul have to stand before his converts?"
Said, "Absolutely, he will too."
I said, "I never varied one word; I stayed just exactly the way the Bible said it. I don't care what anyone said, or did not say; I stayed right with it like that. So if Paul's group is saved, mine is too."
Paul and Brother Branham were both heads of their tribes with the ones who were numbered under their ministries who followed them and believed their message and hid that message in their house and protected the message and the messengers just like we saw with the message from last week “A Hiding Place” but there was also another hiding place in Jericho that another person that was following the message of that hour hid something.
