Job - I Have Heard but Now I See
JOB 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
Often we can be talking to someone, and they can be hearing our words but not hearing our meaning, and so we say “do you see what I mean”, in other words “do you understand the mystery of my speech of the thought that my words are trying to covey to you”, because seeing is really just another word for understanding.
Job - I Have Heard but Now I See
We know that Job is introduced by God at the beginning of the book of Job as a perfect man.
And so we find that Job was a masterpiece that God had allowed to be smitten by Satan, just as Christ was a masterpiece that was smitten at Calvary.
And just as Christ was rejected by the ones he love, so Job was rejected by the ones he loved.
And so we see how that Job’s experience of suffering and rejection was a foreshadow of what Christ would also suffer.
*And so it is clear when we read the book of Job that God was allowing the life of Christ to be writing into the story of Job’s life – and this is what God has been doing in our lives for this hour also concerning the word for this day.
*We also see that in this day how Brother Branham suffered and was rejected because it was the same Christ in Job and in this end time ministry also.
**The book of Job has 42 chapters, and in chapter 42 (the very last chapter) it reveals the end of Job’s suffering, because there is an appointed time that our suffering will end also – all suffering will one day be ended.
And we know that 42 is six lots of seven, and seven is the number of completion, and six is the number of man – of man’s suffering on earth, because man’s suffering on earth will end after six thousand years, because the millennium is the seventh thousand’s year when Eden is restored to earth again.
EZEKIEL 14:12-14
12 ¶ The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
13 Son of man, when the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously (That is this day that we are living in now), then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:
14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord GOD.
*Ezekiel was the one who ate the book in the hour when the king of Babylon had conquered the world, so we know for sure that Ezekiel is a type of the end time bride of this day because we are also the ones in this day eating the book of the 7th angel’s message of the word of this hour at the time of this Babylon.
*And we also know that Noah had lived in a time of a world that had undergone a population explosion and was full of violence and the woman being more attractive because of cosmetics, and so that is this day also.
*And then Danial had lived in a Babylonian world among heathen people which is also this day – and so all of this is showing us a mystery of this hour that we are living in.
*But then we notice that Job is also mentioned by God along with Noah and Danial, and so this is showing us that Job is also connected with something to do with this end time hour as a type of this end time bride of this day.
At the end of November 1965, Brother Branham preaches a series of 6 services in the city of Shreveport, Louisiana
1- The Invisible Union Of The Bride Of Christ - Thursday the 25th of November 1965
2- Works Is Faith Expressed – Friday the 26th of November 1965
3- Trying To Do God A Service Without It Being God's Will - Saturday Morning the 27th of November 1965
4- I Have Heard But Now I See - Saturday Evening the 27th of November 1965 which he preaches from Job chapter 42 of the last chapter of Job.
5- God's Only Provided Place Of Worship - Sunday Morning the 28th of November 1965
6- On The Wings Of A Snow White Dove - Sunday Evening the 28th of November 1965
And on the wings of a dove message he talks about his six lots of every seven years of his suffering with his stomach acid condition that lasted for 42 years, and this is the same number of chapters in the book of Job of what he had preach about Job’s suffering being ended after 42 chapters the night before in the message “I Have Heard But Now I See”.
*Six is the number of man, and 6 thousand years is the number of the allotted time of man’s suffering on the earth, because we know that man’s suffering will end after 6 thousand years just as Job’s suffering ended after 42 chapters which is 6 cycles of 7, and brother Branham’s suffering also ended after 42 years of 6 cycles of 7 – and so God is showing us how he was writing the book of Job into Brother Branham’s life, and God is also showing us that the suffering of our lives will also have an appointed end.

191 Now notice. And Mama, she said, "Billy," when I come back, she said, "come here, son, and set down." She said, "I had a strange dream. I dreamed that I seen you a-laying sick, just about to die, with your stomach as usual." How many diets has she cooked me! And she said, "You were building a house upon a hill." And said, "I seen six white doves come down from heaven, cooing, in a letter 'S' and they set upon your chest. And you was looking, and the one in front was trying to tell you something." Said, "They was real glossy, white, doves. And they took their little heads and put against your cheek, and going, 'coo, coo, coo.'" And said, "I couldn't understand it." Said, "They just kept going, 'coo, coo, coo.'"
192 I said, "Oh, I see it, praise the Lord!" And said, "They formed their letter 'S' again and went back up into the skies, going 'coo, coo, coo, coo,' going back home." (The letter “S” stood for his suffering)
193 Well, the little animal that I saw was six inches long. The string of doves that Mom saw was six, six is incomplete. I knew that someday I'd see that seventh one. That was man, suffering; so on and on it went.
So on the Saturday evening of the 27th of November 1965, he preaches on Job’s suffering in the message “I Have Heard But Now I See”, and then the next night on the Sunday evening he preaches on his own suffering in the message “On The Wings Of A Snow White Dove” showing us a mystery of how his own life was the book of Job being lived out in the life of a 20th century prophet that caught the revelation of the resurrection of this hour.
Then the following Saturday he travels to Yuma Arizona and preaches “The Rapture” on the 4th of December 1965 which is showing all the resurrections of the bible.
Then the next day (Sunday) on the 5th of December 1965 he preaches Things That Are To Be in Rialto, California which is the continuation of the Rapture message – this is the 8th message of things that are to be in eternity.
***So we can see how the pattern of these services were ordained by God for a purpose for us to see how God was unfolding this great mystery of the resurrection of this day to us, and that the end of man’s suffering on the earth has an appointed time to end and that it is only six inches long like the little weasel that flew into Brother Braham’s stomach because the angel told him not to worry because it was only 6 inches long, and so we know that our suffering has a limited time allotted to it also.
JOB 42:5 opening scripture – and this is Job speaking of God.
5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
Hearing is one of the major senses of the body that we use to sense speech and conversation, but we all know that even though you can hear words and understand the words of what is being said, yet you still may not understand the meaning behind the words of what the other person is trying to say to you.
*But when you can understand the meaning behind the words, then that produces a revelation that is complete - you have heard by the ear, but now you can understand because you are seeing with your eyes of understanding, and this was the experience that Job had come to of God at the end of chapter 42.
***From last week we saw that the experiences of Job’s life was showing us a mystery of suffering before glory.
*Joseph suffered before his glory.
*Jesus suffered before His glory
*Brother Branham suffered before his glory.
*And so this explains why you and I are also going through this life of struggle and suffering, because there is a glory that lays ahead for us also. A portion of glory awaits us at the last chapter of our lives also.
II TIMOTHY 2:12a
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: (that is if we suffer for His cause, because many people suffer in life, but not for the cause of Christ of the word revealed for their age)
*So Job had heard about God his whole life – but when he gets to chapter 42 at the end of his suffering, it is then that he is caught up into this greater revelation of an understanding that he had never seen before – “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.”
*Job had already received a revelation of His justification – he knew that the Lamb had died on his behalf, and so he knew that he was sinless in his legal standing with God – but he didn’t know that there was an even greater revelation that God wanted him to see of not just a God that forgives sins, but a God that also redeems a man back to his original state.
FOR.HIM.WILL.I.ACCEPT_ HAMMOND.IN FRIDAY_ 52-0718
E-23 Job had not sinned; he knew he hadn't sinned. And he--he had not sinned, so he would not confess it, because he absolutely hadn't sinned. But God was really trying him, putting him to the test. And I believe that every Christian that's borned again, has to go to those tests. Every son that cometh to God must be first chastened, purged. Is that right? If you cannot stand chastisement of the Lord, then you become a bastard, or a illegitimate child. You claim God to be your Father, and you know nothing of Him. See? A real, true, borned again child of God stands firm. We are sowed with the incorruptible seed of God; it cannot perish.
**So when we look closer at Job, we see that through this journey of Job’s suffering that he was also on another journey of the discovery of a greater revelation of God, because he had heard so much about God as the great creator, but he had not yet come to know God as the Great Redeemer.
*We have talked about this in a previous service of how that Redemption is a greater work than creation, and we found out that the real purpose that God created the world and the stars and all of creation was for the purpose to reveal redemption.
**But at the beginning of the book of Job, all Job was talking about was the creation – “the seed goes down in the ground and dies, and then the rain comes and it rises back up” and “the sun goes down at sunset and darkness comes, and then it rises in the morning at sunrise - and so Job knew all these different things about creation, but the real mystery of the sun setting and the sun rising was not known to Job, he had heard all about how it works, but the mystery of death and burial and resurrection and glory Job had not yet understood – **He had heard, but he had not yet seen the mystery behind what he had heard.
**Job didn’t realise that everything in the creation was designed by God to reveal Redemption, and this was the part that was hidden from Job’s eyes.
*Job knew about botany life, and animal life, and human life, he had heard of all these things by the hearing of the ear, but he had not yet seen the purpose of what it was all about, he wasn’t seeing that it was all about Redemption, and that Redemption was the purpose that God had had in the back-part of His mind all along.
*Because God had designed creation for the purpose to reveal Redemption.
**Job was only seeing a man born of a woman in this temporal world of suffering and death - he was only seeing that a man lives and then dies and then he is gone - and that is where Job’s revelation ended.
***Many people wonder why humans ever come into this condition of all this trouble and suffering on earth?
But by the message of the hour we know that the reason was for the purpose for God to be able to reveal himself of the seven compound names of His Redemptive character; because that is the only way you could come to know God in the fullness of who he really is.
***If God had allowed us to bypassed this life and go straight into glorification, then throughout eternality God would never have been fully expressed, He would never have been made fully known to us, and so there would always be a kind of loneliness and a mystery about God that we could never have come to understand because of these certain mysterious attributes of His great character that would have remained a secret for as long as there was an eternity, and so God could never have been able to have full fellowship with man, and so He would have remained lonely even though he would have been surrounded by millions of his children.
**That is why that if there had never been a sick man, then He could never be expressed as a Healer - if there was never a man in sorrow, then He couldn’t reveal Himself as the Comforter to that man. If a man was never lost, then God could never reveal Himself as the Saviour.
***So, the purpose of God was locked up in these things of how he would express these attributes of what he was.
**So when Job said, “I know my Redeemer liveth,” a ‘redeemer’ is taking you back from where you fell from – so Job began to catch the revelation of these things because God was not trying to reveal Himself to Job as the Creator now, but as the Redeemer, to show him that what was written in the Zodiac in the heavens and what is written in nature in the creation (because all of this was the creation), that the setting and the rising of the sun, and the flower that lives again after it dies, that death, burial and resurrection and redemption and glory is what was being revealed in all of these things.
*From last week we showed how that the Zodiac begins with the virgin woman, of how the woman brings forth the seed in the Virgo.
Then Aries the Ram is the coming of Christ.
Then Aquarius is the pouring out of the water (the Holy Spirit coming into the Church), and then when we get to the end of the Zodiac, we see the revealing of Leo the Lion (which represents Christ at His second coming), and then Leo and Virgo are placed together in a marriage ceremony which is the marriage of Christ and His Bride at his second coming.
THE.RESURRECTION.OF.LAZARUS_ ERIE.PA SUNDAY_ 51-0729A
E-33 God is from above. He's writing the zodiac in the sky. Zodiac starts with the Virgin, the first coming of Christ, ends up with the Leo, the Lion, the second coming. And He's writing His first Bible. There's three of them.
One of them was written in the skies, one in the pyramids, one on this. Everything in God is in a trinity, like a man's in a trinity.
**So, from Virgo to Leo, is the plan of Redemption shown in the stars.
**And from the foundation of the Pyramid to the Capstone, is the plan of Redemption shown in the Pyramid.
**And from Genesis to Revelation is the plan of Redemption shown also.
Three Bibles, one Author, and each bible is revealing the same redemptive plan.
**And so for God to make Himself known to Job, He had to elevate Job’s thinking up into a higher realm from this finite time line of mortal life and take him back to before the foundation of the world to “Where were you Job before the world was ever formed?”
**And then Job’s thinking began to go into another level of thinking outside of his earthly birthday to back to where he was millions of years before man fell in Eden, and so now his thoughts were being elevated beyond this temporal life of him wishing that he had never been born – he had heard of all these things of nature and the stars, but now he was beginning to see and to understand the real purpose of his life on earth, and that purpose was for this mighty God to be unveiled to Job in the unveiling of the great character of God.
