Lead Me in Thy Truth, and Teach Me

JOHN 16:12-13

     12   I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. (There is a season for every word of God)

     13   Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come (Notice not when the man of truth is come, but the spirit of the man of truth which is the spirit of the Christ the word), he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. (Showing things to come requires the ministry of a prophetic gift – so this “guiding into all truth” and “showing things to come” would have to be in a season when a prophetic ministry is on the scene, and that is the season that we are live in now under this prophetic ministry that God has sent in our generation)

REVELATION 4:1

     1     ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither (an ascension – a rising up), and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. (Again – a prophet ministry at the end of the seven church ages)

PSALM 25:4-9

     4   Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

     5   Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

     6   Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

     7   Remember not the sins of my youth (sin is unbelief in the word and “youth” = early life – so when we first come to Christ as early believers, God had to begin to lead us out of the sin of unbelief by the teaching of the word.

Many of us that came out of denominations and into the message of the hour still carried with us a lot of unbelief of our denominational ideas, so by the truth of this hour and through the ministry of a God sent vindicated prophet, God has guided us from a condition of unbelief into truth), nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

     8     ¶ Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

     9   The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. (Notice the word “teach” is spoken of though this portion of scripture - God leads us by teaching us his way)

We have been talking in previous services about the resurrection of the sleeping saints and the rapture and the seventh seal and all these great things that pertain to this time that we are living in right now. And if you will notice that we are not just preaching about some future event, but these things that we are preaching about is the experience that we are in right now – this is not a rehearsal, this is the real live event that we are caught up in that is taking place all around us right now under this seventh seal if we can only recognise it.

I read an article about a movement called “Girls Rising” (show slides).

The focus of this movement is to encourage the teaching and education of girls and woman of low cultural status in order so that they can rise higher in their lifestyle and earning capacity so that they can break the cycle of poverty that many of them are trapped in, because teaching and knowledge has the power to cause people to rise up from a lower state to a higher state.

And so when we see these movements going on in the natural we know that it is showing us what God is about to do in the spiritual world because there is another “Girl” called the Bride of Jesus Christ that is also rising up out of poverty in this hour because of the revelation and the teaching of the word that is being taught to her by the spirit of truth through the message of the hour – “when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth”.

The true teaching and revelation of the word lifts a person up and sets them free, whereas ignorance of the word keeps a person down in bondage and confusion and unbelief – and that is what causes sin, because sin always follows unbelief of the word.

PROVERBS 4:7

     7   Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. (This is not talking about getting scientific worldly knowledge of how to maybe make an atomic bomb so that you can kill millions of people at one time, but this is the wisdom of God to receive the knowledge of the Lord that brings life to you – it reveals God to you)

PROVERBS 9:10

     10   The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. (To know him is true understanding)

PROVERBS 1:7

     7     ¶ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

So when we see movements like this “Girls Rising” movement – our spiritual bells begin to ring because we know that what caused the fall of mankind in the beginning was when a “Girl” fell by a false teaching when she was taught something that guided her away from the truth of the word of God to believe a lie of the devil.

True teaching lifts a person up and brings freedom to them, but a lie pulls a person down and brings them under bondage.

So from this we see that true teaching is associated with ascension (rising up), while to remain in ignorance or to be taught a lie is associated with descension (going down).

REVELATION 21:7

     7   He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

From last week we mentioned that this overcoming is not so much referring to the failure of man’s everyday human struggles and mistakes (that’s what the blood of Christ was shed for because none is righteous, no not oneROMANS 3:10), but it is dealing with us overcoming the deception of the age that we live in, because sin is always caused first by deception – sin follows deception.

Eve was first deceived before the first sin ever took place.

So it is only the truth revealed by the spirit for the age that will combat the ignorance and the deception of the age. In other words - Outside of the word revealed to you for your age you cannot overcome and rise above the deception for your age, because only the word for your day reveals the deception for the day.

ISAIAH 59:19

     19   So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun (Notice how it puts the setting of the sun in the west first, and then the rising of the sun in the east because this scripture is especially referring to this end time when the Gospel is going back from the west to the east again). When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. (The standard is raised up in this hour by the Spirit of the LORD by the teaching of the word, and “when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

***So in this age the Holy Spirit is the revealer and teacher of the word, and so what gives us the power to overcome the deception of this age is the revelation of the word of this hour.

Opening scripture

REVELATION 4:1

     1     ¶ After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

So we know that this door that was opened in heaven to the end time bride of this hour was opened by the revealing of the word when the seven seals were preached in 1963, and that door continued to open right to the end of Brother Branham’s ministry in 1965, because this message is what opened the door to the revelation of the entire bible.

Remember - Eve fell from her “position” with God through unbelief of the word, but in this end time hour (by the teaching of the Holy Spirit and the restoration back to the word) an end time bride will rise up and take a rapture – and that is what is going on now – it is a word revival and not a Pentecostal revival that we are looking for in this hour.

81     As this Englishman said the other night here, I was so astonished at that. All the learning he had, as Paul, he had to forget all he knowed, in order to find Christ, do things that he thought he wouldn't do.

82   But that's the way God does, He humiliates us in our educational system. Not as I'm trying to support ignorance, but I'm trying to tell you the difference. Education can never bring Life. It takes the Spirit of God to bring Life, and that Life must not come out of just the intellectual revival. It's got to come out of the Bible, Word revival, and that Word is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

143     Because, "Immediately after that Message, the earth is to be burnt with fire, and the righteous walk out upon the ashes of the wicked." So it never happened in the time of John. We've got to have a Message sweep back and bring the people out of all these denominational conditions, back to the original, genuine Pentecostal Faith. And we're seeing it done, it's fulfilling of a Scripture that has to come to pass.

THE.INVISIBLE.UNION.OF.THE.BRIDE.OF.CHRIST_ SHP.LA V-2 N-15 THURSDAY_ 65-1125

48   Notice this character. When you see women just go on the rampage, just doing anything they want to do, watch, the church is doing the same thing. Notice.

49   But watch when, the spiritual Bride, when She begins to have a revival, when She begins to come back and line Herself up with the Word of God. Watch then again, you see, how that the Scriptures, at that time, There'll be a Message sweep out to catch that Bride, catch that Woman, Elect.

50   For, as the world, Satan, the deceiver who deceived the first bride, to sinning against the God, by misbelieving His Word.

THE.RAPTURE_ YUMA.AZ V-5 N-14 SATURDAY_ 65-1204

65     But, to the Church, the Bride, the Rapture is a revelation to Her. It's revealed to Her. That, the revelation, the true Bride of Christ will be waiting for that revelation of the Rapture.

66   Now, it is a revelation, for the revelation is faith. You cannot have a revelation without it being faith. Faith is a revelation, because it's something that's revealed to you. Faith is a revelation. Faith is something that has been revealed to you, like it was to Abraham, that could call anything contrary to what had been revealed to him, as though it wasn't so. Now, faith, that's what faith is, is the revelation of God. The Church is built upon a revelation, the whole entire Body.

In the New Testament we see that in the arrangement of the order of the books of the New Testament, first comes the historical books (the Gospels and Acts), then comes the epistles - first those from Paul, then those written by the other writers, then the book of Revelation comes at the end.

Paul’s letters are arranged beginning from Romans, then 1st and 2nd Corinthians, then Galatians and so on, and they were put in that order because of their subject categories and their natural path of the progression of their revelation beginning at Romans at the foundation of the Christian Faith.

But it is important to note that the first letter that Paul wrote was not Romans but actually 1st Thessalonians, and 1st Thessalonians speaks of the second coming of the Lord which is the seventh seal.

So Paul’s ministry actually began with the opening of the seventh seal just as Brother Branham’s 3^rd pull ministry which was the revealing of the word also began with the opening of the seven seals.

I THESSALONIANS 4:13-18 is the mystery of the 7^th seal – the coming of the Lord

     13     ¶ But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

     14   For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

     15   For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

     16   For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

     17   Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

     18   Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

So Paul’s first letters to the church of that time begins with the seventh seal in mystery form in 1^st Thessalonians (the revelation of the coming of the Lord), showing that Christ’s future coming would consist of a shout and a voice and a trumpet.

***But Paul never went beyond telling it any more above that level, he allowed it to remain a mystery because the secret of it was not going to be understood until this age when the Holy Spirit would pick that scripture up again on the 4^th of December 1965 and through the voice of the serveth angel would take what Paul had penned in AD52 and open it up completely to the bride of this hour to show us and teach us what is going on now – and how that this seventh seal is the coming of the Lord and that is what is happening right now and that we are caught up in the cycle of this very scripture that is coming to pass.

We are part of the fulfilment of these things.

Early Sunday morning the 8^th of May 1960 God took brother Branham beyond the curtain of time. (Notice the date - the 8^th of the 5^th 1960, because 8 is eternity and 5 is grace and six is the number of man) Then the next Sunday morning he preaches “The Rejected King” and tells us of his experience.

19-1   I don't know my days. No one does. The other morning I was laying in my bed. And I was--had been asleep, and I dreamed that Joseph was sick, and I'd picked him up to pray for him. And when I woke up I was very upset. I said, "Well, maybe Joseph is going to be sick." And I looked going before me in a little dark shadow, rather, of a brownish color, and it seemed like it was me. And I watched it and coming behind it was someone white, and it was Him. I looked over to my wife to see if she was awake that I could show her, if she could see the vision, but she was sleeping. I said, "Oh, I'm sorry, Lord, but that's been my life. You've had to drive me to everything that I done. Every time anything would happen, I'd think it was You doing it, and I realize it was Satan trying to keep me away from it." I said, "If You could only lead me." And as I looked I seen the prettiest face I ever saw on a Man. He was in front of me looking back. He raised His hand and got ahold of mine and started moving this a-way. The vision left me. (So the day before he is taken beyond the curtain of time, he has a vision of the Lord leading him)

19-2   Last Sunday morning I was--had wakened up early. That was on Saturday, this vision. On S... I've always wearied. I've always thought of dying that me, being fifty, it's--my time is not--didn't think was too long. And I wondered what I would be in this theophany, celestial body. Would it be that I'd see my precious friends and say a little white fog going by and say, "There goes Brother Neville," or he couldn't say, "Hello, Brother Branham." And when Jesus come, then I'd be man again. I often thought that.

Notice – he is confuse about what happens to you after death, so he needed to be led by God into the truth of it by teaching, so God takes him beyond the curtain of time for a lesson, then when he gets back from going there he tells us all about it, and now by him bringing to us that same teaching, it transports us into the same revelation and confidence that he was brought into.

One week after his experience beyond the curtain of time, he begins a four part teaching series on Adoption, and Adoption is about the journey of a son coming into a position of maturity (that the father intended for his son) by the leadership and training and the teaching of a tutor which is a type of the Holy Spirit today leading us by the teaching of the revelation of this hour.

6   Bible teaching is usually a little treacherous, a little, you know, kind of walking out on the thin ice; we call it. But we just feel that maybe at this point and at this time, it might be good to kinda bring the--the church to what I think to a--a complete understanding, positionally, of what we are in Christ Jesus. And sometimes I think that preaching is a wonderful thing, but I believe sometimes, Brother Beeler, that teaching goes beyond that, it kindly... Especially to the church.

Now, preaching usually catches the sinner, brings him under condemnation by the Word. But teaching places a man positionally what he is. And we can never rightly be able to have faith until positionally we know what we are.

240     … Oh, if the Church only knew its position! It will, one day. Then, the Rapture will go when it knows what it is.
