The Evidence of the Oil in the Lamp Pt.2
JOHN 16:12-13
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Showing you things to come takes a prophetic gift.
I JOHN 4:6
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
**If you have the spirit of truth dwelling in you (which is the Holy Spirit), then the evidence of that (according to John) was that you would be able to hear and understand the word of truth that they were speaking for that day.
The Evidence of the Oil in the Lamp Pt.2
We know that according to I THESSALONIANS 4:16 the rapture is the process of a shout and a voice and a trump, and we know that the shout is the message of this hour, and that was what was calling John to come up higher in Revelation 4:1 – he had to first be caught up in order to be told prophetic things that would be in the future. So we know that it is the prophetic voice of the message of the hour that opens up to us the revelation of what is taking place between Revelation 4 and 18. This is what has been going on among the believers of this message since the opening of the seven seals in 1963.

346-2 {87} …The Church goes up in the 4th chapter of Revelation, and does not return until it comes back with its King in the 19th chapter. But these Seals here are revealing what has been, what is, and what will be. See?
***So from Revelation 4 to Revelation 19 is a revelation being revealed to the bride right now at this time – and this is very important for us to understand.
***So I believe that we here this morning are defiantly a part of this group that has been caught up into this first stage of the rapture – and if you are a part of that first stage then you will also be a part of the last stage of the physical translation.
The evidence is that we have been shown these things that are to come by this same one that also called John to come up higher above the denominational world of the seven church ages. So this has actually been our experience over the many years of being in this message.
MATTHEW 24:36-42
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Jesus is referring here to the future time of His second coming)
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (***Notice very carefully – “But as the days of Noah were” – what was happening in the days of Noah’s life before the flood? For many years prior to the flood Noah and his group were preparing the Ark – In other words the coming of the Son of Man was taking place during the process of the preparing of the ark)
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, (Entering into the Ark was the very last stage of the process for Noah, the first stage was the message that came to him – so the coming of the son of man for Noah’s day was from the message (the shout to gather Noah’s group) all the way to the judgment and the catching away of Noah and his group)
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (In other words, the process of coming of the Son of Man was taking place for many years before the judgement came by the forming of the Ark which was the revelation of Christ to Noah and his group – and this is also the secret of this hour, because we don’t know the exact time when judgement will fall and the final moment of the catching away in the rapture will take place, but we are fully aware of what is going on up to this stage of where we are at now, just as Noah and his group was.)
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. (Notice – “Taken”, not “one shall Go, and the other shall Stay - you have to be “taken”, something has to take you, someone has to lead you, you can’t just go by yourself. So if you are taken, then where are you taken? In this hour you are taken out of a denominational understanding of the word and into the new message of the full revelation of the word. It is the voice of the truth of the word of this hour that calls you up higher.
**Noah’s day was an eagle age because Noah was a prophet and prophets are eagles, so under Noah’s eagle age anointing you had to first be taken up into the revelation of the message of what Noah was preaching for that hour or you could have never been physically taken up above the judgement at the end.
So notice that this is the same telling of the parable of the foolish virgins but told in a different way in that half were taken and only half went into the marriage, and we know that the marriage takes place during the preparation time before the final catching away in the rapture – so this is where we are now, all this is going on right now under this eagle age message of this hour.)
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
****We are not living in the days of the gentile prophet Noah today, but we are living in the days of the gentile prophet William Branham, but as it was in Noah’s time, in that for many years before the judgment came there was a preparation in that there were some that were seeing and understanding the revelation of the word of what Noah was showing of what would take place in the future.
LUKE 17:35-37
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
This will take place at an eagle age – an age when a prophet is on the scene and a people are being gathered together by this eagle prophet’s message.

It is the second resurrection wherein the five foolish virgins come up. Notice that they were virgins. They did not have the Holy Spirit so they missed being in the bride, while the five wise who had oil became a part of that bride. But these people, being a separated, God-loving people, and trying to abide in the Word, according to what they knew of it, and being a help in the work of the Lord will come up at the end of time. They will miss the millennium, which you can begin to see by these truths is much more important and wonderful than we have ever thought or believed.
All these people had their names in the Book of Life and their names remained. But whose names did not remain? Those of the world system churches who fought the bride will be those whose names are removed. That is who will lose out. They will be cast into the lake of fire.
***Under this message, it is important for us to understand that the terminology of what we previously called receiving the Holy Spirit under a Pentecostal denominational concept is not the same as what it means now under the true revelation of this message, because in this age God has taken it up to a higher level to mean the literal life of God dwelling in the person. It is when the seed of God that is predestinated in you is quicken by the spirit of word of this age which Holy Ghost, and the evidence of that will be that He will continue to guide you into the truth for your age so that you will be found in the word for your age.

If you are truly filled with the Spirit of God you will have the evidence of the WORD in your life.
*** Throughout the services of the opening of the seven seals, almost every time brother Branham came to the pulpit he begins to tell us that the truth of the word was revealed to him altogether different to how he had previously understood it by his old traditional church age understanding.

178-4 {11} And now, tonight we are studying this Second Seal. And e... For the first four Seals there is four horse riders. And I tell you today something happened again, and I--I... Something that I... I go and get the old script that I had that I talked on long ago. And just set down there, and I thought, "Well, I--I did the very best I could." And many writers and things... And I thought, "Well, I'll read a little while, and look over and see this and that," and the first thing you know, something just happens, and it's altogether different. It just comes in different. Then I grab me a pencil right quick and start writing down just as fast as I can while He's there.
***So as these 7 seals continued to open during the rest of 1963,’64,’65, we see the same pattern happening in that the understanding of things that we thought were so right because of our past denominational traditional thinking were actually not right in the way we understood them before, and so in order for us to “see” the truth of the word correctly, we would have to apply the eyesalve of the teaching of the message in order for us to understand and “see” the word correctly. That was the great counsel given by God to us for this age.
Christ is still in the business of opening the blinded eyes today.

245 When finished, at Laodicean Age, according to Revelations 10, the mystery of all the Bible would be knowed to the Bride. Is that right? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Revelations 10. Listen close now. Uh-huh. Bride, called out by the Word; Christ Himself calling out the Bride,
**So after the seals opened in 1963, we will see this same pattern of our understanding of the word regarding many things being completely changed as the sermons from 1963 on continued to be preached to us and all the mysteries of God continue to be made known to us by the ministry of the seventh Angel.
And so this also applies with this subject of the evidence of the Holy Ghost Oil in the lamps of the 5 wise virgins at evening time.
Remember that Brother Branham said that we are turning a corner, and that is where we all sweat it out and struggle – this is where even many message people struggle.

106 And now, we find that in each one of those ages, usually people don't want to believe it, because they're already set in their way. You're turning a corner. You're building a building. And then get to the corner, everybody is running this way, they don't want to turn that corner. But the building goes that way, if the Word says it goes that way. See? There's where we get those junctions of time. That's where it's hard. That's where men had sweat it out.

176 Try to go back and say, "Well, now, we're Lutherans, we want to come up here," you've got to die to the Lutheran age to be borned in the Wesley age. You have to die in the Wesley age to be borned in a Pentecostal age. And you have to die in the Pentecostal age, leave nothing of it left, burn it with fire, because it's going to be burnt like, the stalk that the wheat comes up out of. The stalk, the denomination, it's got to be burned. So don't bring your denomination over in the new Message. This is the Word now.

101 Hadn't had it through the age. See that perfect continuity of the Scripture? Here we live in it. The mysteries; even of the baptism in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and away from the Oneness idea; and these other things, how the Holy Spirit has moved that in and showed it perfectly; and the true Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Notice that he is calling the true Baptism of the Holy Spirit one of the mysteries that would be made known to us in this last day), the Token, and everything, and placed it; and how He placed every reformer and everything, just exactly. And, see, right before our own eyes, and it's not in a corner. It's world-known. Jesus, the Son of God, revealing Himself by the Scriptures, making that Scripture that has been predestinated to this day, like it was to that day and all other days, live. And, to believe It, is the evidence of the Holy Spirit.
That is exactly what Saint John said in I JOHN 4:6 “he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error”.
***If we read these next quotes in date order you will see how these things opened to him because you will never hear him talking like this in relation to the evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost previous to this time, because this is one of the “game changers” of our understanding concerning this subject that the Holy Spirit opened to Brother Branham regarding the true evidence of the Holy Ghost in a person’s life.

66 Today I was talking with my good friend, Doctor Lee Vayle, who is present now. And he's quite a theologian, and so we usually have some--have some pretty good discussions on the Scripture. Very smart.
And he asked me one time what I thought about the initial evidence of the Holy Ghost, "Was it speaking in tongues?" It's been many years ago.
I said, "No; can't see that."
He said, "Neither do I," said, "though I've been taught that." He said, "What would you think would be an evidence?"
67 I said, "The most perfect evidence I can think of is love." And so we got to talking on that.
And then I thought that sounded pretty good so I just held that, "If a man has got love."
But one day the Lord, in a vision, straightened me out. And He said, that, "The evidence of the Spirit was those who could receive the Word," neither love, nor speaking in tongues, but it's receiving the Word.
68 And then Doctor Vayle was saying to me, that, "That is Scriptural," he said, "because, in John 14, Jesus said, 'When He the Holy Ghost is come upon you, He will reveal these things to you, that I've taught you, and will show you things to come.'"
So there is the genuine evidence of the Holy Ghost! He has never told me anything wrong yet. That, "It is the evidence of the Holy Ghost, is he who can believe the Word." You can receive It.
Cause, Jesus never said, "When the Holy Ghost is come, you'll speak with tongues." He never said, the Holy Ghost come, you'd do any of those things. But He said, "He will take these things of Mine and show them to you, and will show you things that is to come." So there is the genuine evidence of the Holy Ghost, according to Jesus Himself.

195 Now, that's what we was talking the other day, the evidence of the Holy Ghost. See? The evidence of the Holy Ghost is when you can receive the Word; not some system, but have a clear understand.

Always been every age if you can receive the Word. Those priests had Jesus beat a million miles when it come to fruits of the Spirit: gentle, and peaceful, and meek, lowly. …If you are true seed, you will hear that Word; the Spirit will baptize you into the body of Christ, filling you and empowering you, and you will receive the Word for your day and age. See how clear the true evidence becomes when the Word is revealed to you?
These are quotes of the message that unlock the true understanding of this subject to us – remember that these mysteries were sealed up until this age but are now being made known to a people that have been “taken” up – one shall be “taken” into the revelation of the word, and the other shall be left. ***John was taken up by the invitation of a prophetic voice of an eagle anointing.
**So the real evidence of the Holy Spirit Oil in your vessel in this hour will be that it will identify and manifest itself by leading you into a clear understanding of the revealed word of this hour – that’s thus saith a prophet of God.
***So the oil in the vessel of the wise virgins was a clear understanding of the word of this end time age just as Noah and his group had a clear understanding of the word for their day – that was why they could “see” in the dark when the others couldn’t – their human lamp (mind) was illuminated by the light of the hour. The five wise virgins went into the marriage which in this hour is to be united by faith with the word – and this is what is going on now before the final judgment comes.
The lamp of the bride’s illumination of their minds and thoughts will be filled with a clear understanding of the word of this hour.
In other words, the elect of this hour will come to a clear understand the word of this hour, but the denominational minded person will remain in confusion, and that is because of an absence of the Oil, so they remain in the darkness of the seven church ages, but we who once sat in darkness have seen a great light.
