Former and the Latter Rain and the sealing Angel
JOEL 2:23-25
23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
(It is my understanding that that was speaking of the ministry of the son of man in this last generation with both the teaching of the word and the supernatural both together as we have seen demonstrated in the ministry of the seventh angel)
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. (fats = wine vat, wine-press)
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
The Invasion of the Locusts – Pt.5
Subject - Former and the Latter Rain and the sealing Angel (These are fairly big lessons)
Over the past several weeks of studying this subject, we have found out that these locust invasions were actually demon spirits that throughout history have been released at varying intensities upon humanity and given access to enter into man and have caused men to do many of the terrible things that have been done against other portions of humanity throughout history.
*We also know that these locusts can manifest themselves through men simultaneously on many fronts such as Politically, Military, Religiously, Individually, and even at a church age level.
- From our studies we have found out that there are two main themes in the book of Joel.
Theme 1 – The invasion of the locusts – which in this harvest time age is the pouring out of demon powers upon the people in the form of deception through the entertainment and the news media industries and religious institutions causing a great darkness of spiritual ignorance to cover the people of this end time age. *Remember in the book of Joel that this locust invasion lasted for the entire 5 months of the harvest of the wheat, oil, and wine so that they could not keep the feast of Unleavened bread, Pentecost, and Tabernacles which is a type of what the end time bride has to keep in this hour in order for the rapture to take place.
Theme 2 - The pouring out of the two rains (former and later rain) which brings a full restoration of what these 4 bugs had eaten down of the bride tree during the seven church ages.
***The former rain is the truth of the word that has been restored in our generation by Malachi 4’s message, and the later rain will be a fresh outpouring of the power of the Holy Spirit upon that truth to quicken our faith for rapturing grace translation.
We know that since WW1 there has been a great advancement of science and the discovery of the fourth dimension of radio waves and the advancement of technology. This was because of a key that was given in Revelation 9 that unlocked this advancement of information and technology, and this key was the key of science that has greatly facilitated the access and onslaught of demonic power upon the people of these last day generations.
*And in hindsight, there is no argument that this advancement of technology has greatly contributed to the negative moral and social condition of the world that we find ourselves in today because of Hollywood and the influence of the television and movie industry – and now the internet and Netflix and every other evil thing that the devil can propagate through this medium.
EPHESIANS 2:1-2
1 ¶ And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air (That is Lucifer who is now controlling the airwaves of the media and the information super highways), the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
This discovery of the “power of the air” of the 4th dimension has been a great tool that Lucifer has used in this age to facilitate the ability for demons to have a direct access into every man’s home so as to give him a far greater and direct channel of access to influence people on a personal level than he has ever had before since the days of Noah. He has been very successfully to change the minds of the masses of the people of the entire world away from the truth of the word of God.
***And so this invasion of these demon locusts upon the people of the world has affected the social balance of humanity into a downward spiralling condition, because these demons that were once bound have now been loosed upon the people and are now abiding as influencing spirits of deception in the people that have become disobedient to the word of God.
***So by the rejection of the word of this age by the people of this age, Lucifer has made a way for his demons to become incarnate in the flesh again, just as God has made a way for those who have received the truth for this day for God to become incarnate in the flesh of his people also – the word made flesh in a people of this hour.
***So Satan and God are both becoming flesh in this hour in their respective subjects - Satan’s Adam and Satan’s Eve (his subjects on earth) in Satan’s Eden in oneness and harmony, just like the Second Adam (Christ), and the Second Eve (His gentile bride) are to go back to Eden again in oneness and harmony in the millennium.
**The Two Eden’s and the two invisible unions - God uniting with his bride, and Satan uniting with his bride.
***So Revelation 9 is how Lucifer becomes flesh in his subjects, and Revelation 10 is how Christ becomes flesh in His subjects.
**So when the key of the bottomless pit was opened under the sounding of the 5th trumpet (WW1), these demons began to enter into the flesh of people just as the demons entered into the swine at Gadara.
We saw that most clearly during the Second World War when a whole bunch of these Locust demons got into the Nazi’s and then we saw what they did to the Jews. It was the influence of these indwelling demon locust spirits that caused them to do the many atrocities that they did – and that is why they began to eat them down and destroy them because that is the nature of locusts.
REVELATION 9:3-4
3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. (The entire earth would be affected and under the threat and power of these locusts)
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Your forehead is your revelation

250 Now, now I want, just for the squeezing down part, before we leave in the next few minutes. Now, the Seal of God is the Holy Spirit. All know that, don't you? All right, we all know that, that the Seal of God is the Holy Spirit. Now, that's found... You take Revelation 9--9:1 to 4, you'll find that they all had the seal in their forehead. I Corinthians 1:22, Paul said, "Whereby He has sealed us by His Holy Spirit until the day..." Ephesians 4:30, says, "Grieve not the Holy Spirit," that's that Angel that come forth sealing upon their forehead. Now, that doesn't mean you... He takes and puts a spot up there. Your forehead is your revelation (See?), and your hand is the thing you do about it. See, it's a spiritual mark. See? He don't take a big stamp and stamp you like that. Oh, no.
You cannot separate the true revelation of the word and the Holy Spirit because He is the inner teacher that reveals the word to your soul. Without the indwelling spirit you would never have the word become clear to you – that’s scriptural.
***So this seal that protects us from the Locust invasion can only come by the sealing angel which seals you by the revelation of the truth of the message of the hour that has been restored to us, and that truth restores to us the wheat, oil, and the wine - that is what the sealing angel of Revelation 10:1 seals you with – he seals you with the revelation of the word for this day which Is the former rain.
*So it is this message of this hour that restores all things of what was eaten away from the church during the church ages – I will restore saith the Lord.
MATTHEW 17:11
11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
REVELATION 10:1-3
1 ¶ And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
These seven thunders are the revelations contained in the seven seals – it is these restored truths that brings this full restoration by the former rain.

What was in those thunders no one knows. But we need to know. And it will take a prophet to get the revelation because God has no other way of bringing out His Scriptural revelations except by a prophet. The Word always came by a prophet and always will.

Now this messenger of Malachi 4 and Revelation 10:7 is going to do two things. One: According to Malachi 4 he will turn the hearts of the children to the fathers. Two: He will reveal the mysteries of the seven thunders in Revelation 10 which are the revelations contained in the seven seals. It will be these Divinely revealed 'mystery-truths' that literally turn the hearts of the children to the Pentecostal fathers. Exactly so.
JOSHUA 2:1
1 ¶ And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
***If we would notice that at the time of this blowing of trumpets at the destruction of Jericho at the time when the angel had descended to a man named Joshua, that that was the time of the sealing and protection of a gentile woman (Rahab) by the message of the hour that she had received and believed by the witness of the two spies. And her belief in that message of the true God for that hour is what sealed her and her family against the onslaught of the invasion against the entire people of her city at that time.
REVELATION 9:18
18 By these three was the third part of men killed (In the Second World War, we know that 6 million Jews were killed in the holocaust (which was a third of the Jewish population), this was a direct result of this locust invasion in the form of the same military demonic power as we saw in Babylon at the beginning of the gentile dispensation and also when Titus destroyed the second temple at Jerusalem), by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
Fire = Ovens that they cremated them in.
Smoke = is the gas of the gas chambers that they kill them in.
Brimstone = sulfur which is gunpowder (Gunpowder consists of a mixture of sulfur, charcoal, and potassium nitrate), so that was the bullets that they shot them with.
*By these three ways of killing were 6 million Jews murdered during the Second World War.
***So as a gentile people, right now in history and in bible prophecy we are living between the Second World War and the Third World War of the battle of Armageddon, and this is where our scripture in the second half of Joel chapter 2 has its fulfilment of this former rain and the latter rain and the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil and I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you and ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied… That is what is now taking place right now in this message land that we have come into in this bride age of the message of the hour.
JOEL 2:18-19 Notice again that the fulfilment of this portion of scripture takes place between WW2 and WW3 (the 6th and 7th Trumpet) – so this is the time that we are living in right now because this is the time that the true wheat (the true bread of life), and the true Oil of the Holy Spirit, and the true wine of the stimulation of the revelation of the fulness of the word would be released by the true teaching of the message of this hour upon an elected group of people that are able to receive it.
18 ¶ Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith (Corn is the word for this age, Wine is the stimulation of the revelation of the word for this age, and the Oil is the Holy Spirit that is also associated with the true word of this age): and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
(Remember that these 4 bugs had eaten down the bride tree during the church ages – this is also what these same locusts are trying to do amongst the local churches of the message as well as you as an individual.
*The Palmerworm ate the fruit of the tree – the love, joy, and peace, The Locust ate the leaves – the fellowship, The Cankerworm ate the bark, and the bark is the doctrine, the covering, and in this hour it is the doctrine of the message of the hour – that is why if you have message ministers that subtlety resist the true doctrine of this message and refuse to teach it because they haven’t fully died out to their denominational ideas yet, then that is one of those locusts right within our camp on a message level trying to eat down the bark.
*Remember that these locusts come in many forms and manifest themselves in political realms, in military realms, in religious realms, in the scientific realm, the moral realm, and very much so in the personal realm of the individual.
According to the scripture, this age is the most deceptive age of all the ages that has ever been before this time, and one of the most greatest deceptions of this age is these locusts that come in the form of half-baked message preachers that don’t actually sow the original seed teaching of this message into their people at all – all they do is just hold the people in foodless pastures.

But how sad does this age make us feel as we realize that every great move of God (and there were many) neglected to throw off the Nicolaitane doctrine for they all organized and died. Then they moved into denominations to hold the spiritually dead in foodless pastures. Little did they know it, but each group was tainted with that same error, and when the revival fire burned low, organization took over and people became denominations. (The message is not exempt from having men with this organizational spirits on them that they neglected to throw off from their last denomination)
JOEL 2:20-27
20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
21 Fear not, O land (of the restored truth by the message of the hour); be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

This age started just after the turn of the twentieth century. As it was to be the age in which the true church would return to being the bride she was at Pentecost, we know that there must of necessity be a return of dynamic power. The believers sensed this in their spirits and began crying to God for a new outpouring such as was in the first century.
What seemed to be the answer came as many began to speak in tongues and manifest gifts of the Spirit. It was then believed that this was indeed the long awaited RESTORATION. It was not, for the latter rain can come only after the former rain which is the spring or TEACHING rain. The latter rain, then, is the HARVEST rain. How could this be the real thing when the Teaching Rain had not come? The Prophet-Messenger who was to be sent to TEACH the people and turn the hearts of the children back to the Pentecostal fathers had not yet come. Thus what was thought to be the restoration and the final quickening unto the rapture had not come. In it was a mixture of the unrighteous partaking of Spiritual blessing and manifesting in the Holy Ghost as we have kept pointing out to you. In it also was devil power as men were under the control of devils, yet no one seemed to realize it. Then, to prove that it was not the REAL, these people (even before a second generation had appeared) organized, and wrote their unscriptural doctrines and built their own fences as every other group ahead of them did.

It is "Thus saith the Lord" for that is what Joel 2:23-26 says,
"Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain in the first month.
And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil.
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you.
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the Name of the Lord your God, That hath dealt wondrously with you: and My people shall never be ashamed."
Now it says God is going to "restore". The Lutheran Age did not restore the church; it started a reformation. The Wesleyan Age did not restore. The Pentecostal Age did not restore. But God has to restore for He cannot deny His Word. This is not the resurrection of the Church; it is the "Restoration". God will take the Church right back to Pentecost of the beginning. Now notice in verse 25 it tells why we need restoration. The locust, cankerworm, caterpillar and palmerworm have eaten all but the root and a small bit of the stem. Now we are told that all these insects are all one and the same in different stages. That is right. They are the antichrist spirit manifested in organization, denomination and false doctrine through the ages. And that poor little root and stalk is going to be restored. God isn't going to plant a new Church, but is going to bring His original planting back to original seed. He is doing it as stated in verse 23, by the teaching, or "former" rain. Next will come the harvest rain or rapturing faith.
So the harvest rain is the Holy Spirit anointing that will be associated with the supernatural that will be demonstrated amongst the bride to give her the final level of faith that is required for the rapture of the church.

46-1 Now, watch. Now, remember the word "m-o-u-r-e-h, moureh," means "teaching, the former rain." It says "the moureh rain, the teaching rain," teaching rain went forth.
Billy Graham has struck the world. The Pentecostals struck the world, and the Word has struck the world. Now, what's the matter now? She's now waiting for the latter rain. That's when she produces her fruits. Oh, I hope you get it.
46-3 Then the kind of seed you have planted in your field will be the kind of crop you will reap.
That is why on a local level the teaching of what the local pastor is feeding the people will be the fruit that he will produce when the time of the latter rain comes and brings that to fully ripened fruit. If he has fed his people over the years with half denominational teaching mixed with half message truth, then that will be the fruit and crop that will come to maturity at the time of the latter rain.
*Let me make this point - A message preacher that doesn’t actually teach the message of the hour to his group will find that there will be little to no fruit produced at the time of the latter rain harvest.
****What if brother Branham had only just preached little salvation sermons and never preached the deeper things of the word and sowed the seed of the true doctrine of the restored word to us in this day? There would have been no bride produce by that.

54 We've had a revival. Joel said... We fuss so much about latter rain, had movements called latter rain; latter rain, former rain, inner rain, outer rain. I was reading the other day. Do you know what former rain means in the Hebrew word? I can't call it right now; I never wrote it down; it skipped my mind. But "former rain," the first rain, means "a rain of teaching." The second rain is the Spirit that comes upon what's been taught and produces the crop.
That is why if you are a pastor with a group of people that God has intrusted to you, and you feel that you don’t have the understanding of message teaching to that level that this age requires, then just make sure to bring in ministry that can do that for you, because your job is to get the sheep food of this age to the sheep of this age – you don’t have to have all the ability, you just need to know where to find the food and then get it to the sheep – that is what a shepherd is supposed to do – get the word to the sheep.
I CORINTHIANS 3:4-9
4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
5 ¶ Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
