The Great Day of Victory for Enoch
ISAIAH 53:1-9
1 ¶ Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
When these scriptures were coming to pass in the life of Christ (especially around the time of the crucifixion), not even his own disciples understood what was going on – to them it was frightening and confusing, and it was a sad time, and everything looked wrong, yet it was all foretold exactly to be that way.
LUKE 24:30-32 (this is just 3 days after the crucifixion of Christ)
30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him (all the confusion left them); and he vanished out of their sight. (Vanishing is one of the capabilities of a glorified body)
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
The Great Day of Victory for Enoch
We know that when Jesus died on Calvary’s hill, it was a great day of victory for every true believer in God for both the Old Testament and the New Testament saints. But at the time when these events were happening, to the natural minded man, and even to the followers of the word for that hour, it looked like a terrible day, it looked like the greatest defeat of all time. That day at Calvary had left them without their master, and it through them all in a state of desperate confusion and sadness and fear.
We see that reflected by the conversation of the two disciple’s on the road to Emmaus.
LUKE 24:13-18
13 ¶ And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
14 And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17 And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
Notice that their confusion and sadness was because they were unable to take the word promised for that hour in Isaiah 53 and connect it with what was taken place in their lives right then – like the saying that says “you cannot see the wood for the trees” in other words you miss the big picture because you are just able to see a small part of the picture.
So they failed to understand and connect the current event to the word that Jesus had told them of what would take place at that time, and because so much prophecy was becoming history at that time, they got lost in and confused in it all and it looked like it had all gone wrong, and that is because of what they had pre-imagine and had fixed in their minds of how things were going to work out.
LUKE 19:11
11 ¶ And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
In other words, they had “False expectations”, they had their own interpretation of what was to take place, they expected certain things to happen according to the level of what their human mind could imagine of what it should be.
**And so when the word of God is coming to pass in what seems like negative and confusing circumstances, then the people of God get discouraged, and so this misunderstanding by the people of God that applies to these events on an age level also applies to events at a local church level, and also applies very much to the events that happen in our lives on a personal level in our everyday individual lives – we can’t understand when things go wrong in our lives because it is contrary to what we imagined our future to be, and we think that it is a defeat and that God has forgotten us.
And that is why many times we get confused with some of the things that come along in our lives because sometimes it looks like our lives is everything but a victory, and it looks like the promise of the word of God concerning us has all gone south (or north if you’re in the northern hemisphere) especially when we find ourselves in trying circumstances, but God knows the end from the beginning, and we can be certain that all things concerning our lives are in full control by God even if we are confused and out of control.
JEREMIAH 29:10-11
10 For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Song:
We'll Talk it Over
Tho' shadows deepen, and my heart bleeds,
I will not question the way He leads;
This side of Heaven we know in part,
I will not question a broken heart.
I'll trust His leading, He'll never fail,
Thru darkest tunnels or misty vales.
Obey his bidding and faithful be,
Tho' only one step ahead I see.
I'll hide my heartache behind a smile
And wait for reasons 'til after while.
And tho' He try me, I know I'll find
That all my burdens are silver lined.
Chorus:
We'll talk it over in the bye and bye.
We'll talk it over, my Lord and I.
I'll ask the reasons - He'll tell me why,
When we talk it over in the bye and bye.
Last week we were talking about how that Enoch was just an ordinary man who was like us in this age, he had a family and a job and the pressures of life, but the bible said that he walked with God and was taken in a rapture, and that was a great day of victory for Enoch, and we know that he is a type of us in this age being the seventh from Adam just like we are the seventh age from the second Adam (Christ).
So we know that if we can find out how Enoch walked with God, and we can walk with God in the same way that Enoch walked with God, then God will also have to translate us and take us off the earth also because God must always act the same way when the same conditions are met.
HEBREWS.CHAPTER.FOUR_ JEFF.IN HEB SUNDAY_ 57-0901E
24 Listen to this. If God doesn't act the same, when the same circumstances arise, then God is guilty of being partial to His people. God's sovereignty demands of Him to work in every case like He did the first case, or He was wrong when He worked in the first case. If God does not act in the same way He did on the first case, if He will act different to the second case, then He acted wrong when He acted on the first case.
So last week we asked the question “what does it look like to walk with God”, because we know that people have all different kinds of religious ideas of what it is to walk with God, and they also have all sorts of different ideas about how things should look when a prophecy of the Bible is coming to pass in their day.
Many people still think that when you go to heaven your allocated with a cloud and a robe and a harp and you sit on your cloud and play your harp for ever and ever.
ISAIAH 55:8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Many “Christian religious” people are convinced that the second coming of the Lord is in power and glory, but a prophet told us that Christ’s second coming is a secret coming that include 3 phases of a shout and a voice and a trump, and that the shout was the message of the hour.
***And so what people imagine is almost always very different to the reality of the fulfilment, and that is why man fails to recognise when God does something great, because they are looking at greatness different to how God looks at greatness. And that is also why we fail to recognise when God is doing something great in our own lives, because it looks to wrong to us, it looks weak to us, it looks like a failure to us, and we become confused and discouraged and sad just like the two on the road to Emmaus.
LUKE 24:30-32
30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
***Notice – that these two on the road to Emmaus were literally walking with God, but they didn’t know that they were walking with God, all they knew was that even though they were sad, their hearts were burning within them as their understanding of the scriptures concerning that time were being opened to them by this one that was walking and talking with them, and this is also what has been taking place over the years with us the scriptures have been opening to us by the revelation of the message of the hour. But it is not until we look back, and then it is revealed to us who it is that has been walking with us all these years, but because it looks so humble, many of us miss seeing God in all these things and experiences of our lives.
I CORINTHIANS 1:27-28
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

66-1 {431} Remember, friend, don't look for great big... (and this also applies to your own personal lives) You say, "God." He speaks of great big things. There'll come a time there'll be this, that, or the other, great big things... I hope you're catching what I'm talking about (See?), great big things... See? And oh, when this comes to pass, it'll be great, big like this, and it'll be so humble you'll miss the whole thing and just go right on.
THE.FIRST.SEAL_ JEFF.IN MONDAY_ 63-0318
148-1 {206} Now, look at Malachi 4 just a minute. Well, well, you just mark it down. He is a prophet and restores the original faith of the fathers. Now, we're looking for that person to appear on the scene. He'll be so humble, the ten millions times ten millions will... Well, there'll be a little group that'll understand it.
QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.ON.THE.SEALS_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 63-0324M
494-4 {232} 22. Would the Bride of Christ have... Would the Bride of Christ have a ministry before the rapture?
Sure. That's what's going on right now. See? The Bride of Christ... Certainly. It is the Message of the hour (See?), the Bride of Christ. Sure, She's consist of apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, and pastors. Is that right? That's the Bride of Christ. Sure, She's got a ministry, great ministry; it's the ministry of the hour; it'll be so humble...
THE.SEVENTH.SEAL_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 63-0324E
537-4 {88} Now, could you imagine when this person comes on the scene--when he does, remember, it'll be so humble and things till the churches will miss it a long ways.
DESPERATIONS_ JEFF.IN V-4 N-1 SUNDAY_ 63-0901E
32 I--I truly believe that we're on the--the verge of one of the most mightiest things that ever struck the earth since the days of the Lord Jesus. See? See? But now we can only be known as... It'll be so humble. See? See, what man calls mighty, God calls "abomination." But what man calls foolish, God calls "mighty." See? So now watch it, see, it'll be so humble that you'll never miss... that you'll miss it if you're not got the Token there to examine it, you see. See?
We know that to truly walk with God is to walk in the light and revelation of the word for your age and have that word continue to be open to you by the inner teach which is the Holy Spirit on the inside of you.
THE.ANOINTED.ONES.AT.THE.END.TIME_ JEFF.IN V-5 N-3 SUNDAY_ 65-0725M
262 Notice, the very day when this messenger... Not when he starts on, but when he begins to declare his Message. See? The First Pull, healing; Second Pull, prophesying; Third Pull, the opening of the Word, the mysteries revealed. No more, there is no more higher order to reveal the Word, than prophets. But the only way the prophet can be vindicated is by the Word. And, remember, the Third Pull was the opening of them Seven Seals, to reveal the hidden Truth that's been sealed in the Word. Do you see it?
**So we want to notice carefully, that in this age we are able to walk with God different to how they walked with God in any other age, because this is the age of the third pull when the entire mystery of the bible has been opened to us in this hour – the once sealed book has now been unsealed in this end time age by the opening of the seven seals.
**And so this is the level that we are to walk with God on, and this is the level that Enoch walked with God on, because many prophets walked with God but were not translated, so the way Enoch walked with God and the way that we walk with God in this hour is at a higher level of walking because it is at a higher level of agreement with every word – they could only agree with part word, but in this hour we can agree with every word, and that is the level that Adam walked with God, and that is the level that Enoch walked with God, and that is the level that if we are walking in the light of this message and in the opening of the word under the third pull ministry of the seventh angle, then we are also walking with God on the same level that Adam and Enoch walked – that is why we can go back to Eden in this age.
Those six hours when the two on the road to Emmaus walked with God was a prophecy and a type for this age? – because as they were walking with God, He was opening to them the word of the entire bible pertaining to that time – and that’s the characteristics and the evidence of Him walking with you and you walking with him – when he is revealing his word to you and you are receiving that revealing.
______________
It was a great day of Victory for the two disciples on the road to Emmaus when they realised that it was He that had been with them all the time opening to them the mystery of the entire bible – all the gloom of the sad and confusing events of the last week left them – that was a great day of Victory for them.
Enoch also had a great day of victory when for 300 years he had walked with this same one that these two on the road to Emmaus walked with. It was the same God that had walked with him and had opened to him the entire mystery of redemption, not for 6 hours but for 300 years, and the revelation of it caused his faith to reach such a high spot to where his body turned back young again and he just kept walking with God right off the earth without seeing death – what a great day of victory for Enoch.
Then if there was a great day of victory for them back there who were types and shadows of this age, then there must also come a great Victory day in this hour for the Bride of Christ that is walking in the revelation of the opening of the word for this day.
***Sometimes because of the mundane, and the ordinary, and common duties of life, we think of ourselves so far below of what God is really doing in our lives, we struggle to see in that that we think to ourselves “how could I be walking with God like Enoch walked with God, and like the two on the road to Emmaus walked with God” because our lives also have disappointments and we also get confused like they did, but God has a great purpose in all these things of our lives that we so often think as small and common things.
VICTORY.DAY_ SIERRA.VISTA.AZ SUNDAY_ 63-0421
133 And each one of us is born for something. We just wasn't put here for nothing. That mountain never happened out there just to be. That tree was put there for a purpose. Everything is for a purpose. It's got to serve. And we are here for a purpose. Maybe it's to testify to one person and get them saved, and out of that might come a preacher will send a million souls to Christ.
134 Look at Dwight Moody's conversion, and many of those. You see? Just one little old woman, with a... Little old wash woman with a message on her heart, to do something for God, and she rented an old livery stable, and got a minister to come down and preach. And nobody but a little old boy, with their hair hanging down his neck, and his daddy's suspenders on, went down there and knelt down at the altar that night. Dwight Moody, that sent a half a million souls to Jesus Christ. See? That woman had something to do. She's... It was for a purpose. She was made a wash woman, for a purpose.
135 Don't despise where God has got you. But, serve your purpose. There's coming a great victory day, one of these days, where the battle is over.
**The Great Day of Victory for Enoch is showing us that there is also a great day of victory for us.
