The Hiding Place
JOSHUA 2:1
1 ¶ And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
JOSHUA 2:4
4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:
JOHN 7:8-10
8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.
9 When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
10 But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret. That has also taken place in this age, he has come to us in this end time feast secretly.
PSALM 119:10-11
10 ¶ With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 ¶ Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
The Hiding Place
PSALM 91:1-11
1 ¶ He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (This secret place can also be translated as the shelter, or a covering - a hiding place from danger, so when we can find and dwell in this hiding place, then it is also the same thing as abiding under the shadow of the Almighty)
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. (Pestilence = a plague, and Noisome = engulfing ruin, so the Lord will deliver us from the snared of the trapper and also from the engulfing ruin of the plagues of this age – there are so many addictions and plagues of this end time age)
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Without truth you have no shield of protection)
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. (you will see it with your eyes, but you will not be a partaker of it)
9 ¶ Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; (a habitation is your dwelling place)
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. (The angels are the ministries of truth that God sends to you)
We are all living in the information age where the greatest battle ever fort is in the human mind, and the entire battle is being fort between human reasoning verses the word of God.
**We have so much more information that we can use to reason against the word of God with today then we have ever had in any other age, so the battle in the mind in this age is so much greater than it has ever been before in any other age.
***That is why this end time message came to us as a standard against this foe of man’s information and reasoning against the word. Because the enemy has come at us as a flood of information and scientific reasoning against the word of God, and only truth will shield you from the onslaught of the evil one in his deception. Eve fell by being deceived on the word.
***“Upon this rock of the revealed word of God the gates of hell would not prevail. This is why revelation is more important to us than we realise, because absolute truth is the only thing that will withstand against the enemy of reasoning in this hour.
PSALM 81:7
7 Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: A thunder is in symbol the voice of God to us, which is his revealed word for the age in which you live in, it is in the revelation of His word is where he will answer us from, and so that is also where we are to hide from trouble, because 7 thunders have utter their voices in this hour and time of trouble.
God has released a voice of information and truth to his elect to combat the deception of this information age.
Noah and his family found a hiding place back in that time of deception and trouble, they were hidden away in the ark from the destruction of that age, and notice that the information for that Ark came by the voice and by the revelation of God through a prophet’s message.
The Israelites in the time of the 1st exodus were hidden from the death angel behind the door of their houses on which the blood was applied by them because they received the instruction through the voice of God that had spoken to them by Moses who was the vindicated prophet for that hour.
***And then also we see that Rehab in the time of trouble and destruction had hid the messengers in her house, and then she herself and her family also hid in the same house of that she had hid the messengers because of her obedience to the voice of instruction by these two spies.
***Notice, it is Always obedience to the Voice for your day – In the days of the voice of the 7th angel….

PSALM 27:1-5
1 ¶ A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Rock of ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.
PROVERBS 22:3
3 ¶ A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished. (they come into the judgement)

PSALM 91:4
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
When a storm comes, the mother eagle finds a cleft in a rock, a shelter, a hiding place in a time of trouble where she and her little ones can be protected from the storm.

When she took them big wings, she begin to raise, right facing that wind. And they could pierce the wind coming sixty miles an hour. And them little eagles holding onto that wing, she went right straight into the hole in the rock. I said, "Oh, God." I throwed them binoculars down and danced over the top of that hillside. I said, "Someday, the power of God will spread forth His great wings across the earth, and His eagles will grab a hold into the Rock of Ages, cleft for me. Let me hide myself in Thee. While the narrow waters flow. Yes, sir. Hold onto that Rock of ages.
In Genesis - God first created the environment before he put the specie into the environment. And we know that the last specie he made was man, so this proves that man in his natural bodily form is reliant on the entire pyramid of the ecology of God’s creation in order to survive. (Man must live by every creative word)
So notice again: The environment first - and then you put the specie into the appropriate environment, and there are many different types of environments for many different types of species.
The fish tank and water first, and then you put the fish in the water that’s in the tank.
Ecology is the scientific study of the relationships that living things have with each other and with their natural environment and how different environments and species exist together and supports each other.
Like a car engine, it takes all the parts to be in place and in there correct working order for the engine to run properly, if you take one part out, you can easily jeopardise the operation of the entire engine so that it won’t run at all.
Nature is the same way, if you remove even just one part of the balance of what God has put in place, and you threaten the entire existence of natural man on earth.
And we know that this is what man is doing with the environment today with the advancement of science and technology in this information age; he is destroying himself by changing the environment by his scientific achievements.
He is cutting down the rain forests, and in doing that he is killing the species vital to sustain the balance of life. He’s ploughing up the land for crops, breaking down and destroying the natural environment. (eg. The dust bowl in America in the 1930’s)
Environmental change is putting the existence of natural mankind at the risk of complete destruction.
***But we want to notice that this is only an overflow in the natural of what is really going on in the spiritual realm with what Satan is doing by destroying the correct environment of the word of God that is require to sustain man spiritually.
***Upset the spiritual environment and you’ll upset the specie, that’s what the serpent did with Eve, he first introduced information to her to upset her understanding of the word and removed a part of the word that was vital for her survival. Eve was faced with dealing with an information age of reasoning, and she used that information to reason against the word of God.
***And then we see that both Adam and Eve had to leave the environment of Eden because they had left the spiritual environment of their relationship with God; the natural was just following the spiritual.
**One devil was loosed against Eve in Eden, but in this age we have had 200 million demons loosed against humanity to cause an environmental change on such a spiritual magnitude, in order to destroy mankind both spiritually and if time went on long enough, naturally.
**So we are living in a time of great trouble and fear, and a raging storm. This is the condition and the environment that Rahab found herself in because Jericho was about to be destroyed, and so what was the answer? You can’t change the environment of this evil age; you can’t send 200 million demons back to the pit - so what are you going to do, what is the answer? The answer for Rahab was a hiding place, but first she found a hiding place for the messengers, and Notice that the hiding place was the same place that the word was being revealed to Rahab.
***The cleft in the rock is an environment of safety within an environment of storms and troubles and uncertainty – like a sheltered harbour to a ship in the time or a great storm. A microclimate of peace within a global climate of trouble and unrest.
PSALM 27:5
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. A Rock is a revelation of the word for the season in which you live in, and Rahab receive a revelation of the word from the messengers and she hid that in her house, she became their protectors, so then they also became her protectors.
***If you protect the message now by hiding it in your house, then one day that same message will protect you in the judgement hour.
Your comfort - is your religion
People are seeking for some form of comfort in this hour, because we are at a time when the world is falling apart. Entertainment has become such an addiction and a comfort to millions and millions of people.
**Whatever brings you comfort is what you will make your religion.
Smoking, drinking, gambling, immorality, partying, sport, culture, habits, worldly entertainment etc,

54 And now we find, all those things is because people are trying to find comfort. They're trying to find something that they... And remember, your comfort is your religion, and you make those things your religion.
JOHN 14:16-20
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide (dwell) with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 ¶ I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Christ is the hidding place, he in you and you in him, and He is revealing Himself and that hiding place to you by the word for this day that has sounded through the voice of His prophet, it is the promise and revelation of His word that brings us comfort in this hour as Noah’s message brought comfort to them who received it at that time.
The hiding place is himself in you and you in Him, it is the revelation of his word to you personally that you hide and protect in your “house”, that is where He dwells, and that is the secret place that we are to also dwell. ***Rahab hid the messengers secretly in her house, and she was also hid in her house secretly.

145 As the story of Charles Wesley on his retreat down by the seaside one day... He had a little shack; he was studying; the Lord led him down there. And he was studying; oh, God was moving on him for a song. And he couldn't--he couldn't get nothing to start on. He'd start on something; the inspiration would leave him. So he went walking down along the seashore, listening at the waves, and thought he could find some inspiration in the waves lapping. All at once a storm came up. Nothing happens by chance; everything is ordained of God. No matter what happens, all things are going to work together for good.
146 And he started towards his little cabin. When he did, the winds got to blowing. He thought, "Oh, I'll be blown off this--the--the shore before I get there. And be pulled up his coat and started to run, and something flew into his bosom. And he looked back, and it was a little sparrow come for refuge. He just held it in his bosom until the storm was over and the sun come out. He set this little fellow upon his finger, and he let him fly away. And he flew away, and then the--the inspiration struck him:
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Oh, I like that. See? Rock of Ages, that Rock in a weary land, a Shelter in the time of storm. That Rock in a weary land, Hide Thou me, Hide me, O Rock of Ages cleft for me.
How do we get into this secret place?
II PETER 1:11
11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
How do we get into this secret place? - By the ministry of the word through the voice of God in these last days.
Noah heard the voice of God, and that put him in an Ark, and he dwelt in that hiding place call the ark, and that was his place of safety from the destruction and judgement of that time.
The Israelites heard the voice of the instruction of God through Moses, and that instruction put them into a place of hiding away in their houses, and they had to dwell in that place until the judgement of the death angel had passed.
Rehab heard the instruction of the spies that came into her house and lodged there secretly, and she received from them special information, and that information gave her access to a hiding place in that time of judgement, and so she was found in a place of safety during a time of great fear and trouble.
*We have also heard the voice of God in our day, and that voice is what is ministering us into this secret place of rest, this hiding place in this time of the greatest trouble that the world has ever seen or ever will see upon the earth.
***May we keep walking with the word and revelation of this hour until we all enter into that hiding place where the peace of God can fill every fibre of our souls with the assurance of his promise of deliverance.
**The word of this day is trying to lead us to that secret place of safety and shelter, but the devil doesn’t want us to find that hiding place, he wants us to have a man-made shelter of man a made religion or some vice of the world to try to comfort ourselves.
As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when the son of man is revealed.
If there was a place of safety to hide then, so there must also be a place of safety to hide in now.
The Hiding Place of secret, hidden away from the pending judgement.
