The Kinsman Redeemer and the Kinsman Avenger Pt.2
MATTHEW 13:24-30
24 ¶ Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. (This was what Satan did in Eden also - God first sowed the seed of His children into the world, and then later on Satan through deception and unbelief sowed the seed of his children into the world, and they have both grown together for six thousand years until this age of the harvest time)
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. (Why? Because it is hard to tell them apart in their immaturity – but at harvest time it becomes clear because of their fruit, and remember that in this age their fruit is their teaching just like it was false teaching of the word that started the tares in Eden)
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
The true teaching of the message of this hour is gathering the end time bride to be taken into the barn of the marriage supper of the lamb, while the tares are being gathered into denominational bundles by the voice of false teachers to be burnt by nuclear fire at the end of this age.
**So we see here that harvest time is both judgement and redemption just like with the two thieves on the cross at the end of the son of man ministry of Jesus earthly ministry – so both judgement and redemption takes place at harvest time.
The Kinsman Redeemer and the Kinsman Avenger Pt.2
From last week we learnt about the Cities of Refuge provided by God for the man slayer
JOSHUA 20:1-3
1 ¶ The LORD also spake unto Joshua, saying,
2 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, Appoint out for you cities of refuge, whereof I spake unto you by the hand of Moses:
3 That the slayer that killeth any person unawares and unwittingly may flee thither: and they shall be your refuge from the avenger of blood.
The Ark was the city of refuge in Noah’s day.
God has always provided a city of refuge – and that is to be found in the word for your day – the ark was the word for Noah’s day, Jesus was the word for his day, God has sent his word for this day through a vindicated prophet.
Just to recap a little…
This Kinsman Redeemer/Avenger in the Hebrew language is known as the Goel Hadam which means a near kinsman that is willing and able to redeem or to avenge. “Hadam” is translated as “the blood” of which when shed causes death.
The obligations of this Goel Hadam includes the duty to
(1) Redeem the relative that had been obliged to sell himself into slavery (Leviticus 25:48–49);
(2) To repurchase the property of a relative who had had to sell it because of poverty;
(3) To avenge the blood of his relative in the case of if his relative is murdered; (4) To marry his brother's widow in order to produce a son for his brother in the case that the brother had no son at the time of his death to pass on his name (Deuteronomy 25:5–6); and
(5) To receive the restitution if the injured relative had died (Numbers 5:8).
THE.BREACH.BETWEEN.THE.SEVEN.CHURCH.AGES.AND.THE.SEVEN.SEALS_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 63-0317E (we read this quote last week…)
89-4 {138} … in the Book of Ruth as you read it you'll find out such a person was called the goel, G-o-e-l, was called the goel, or it was a person that could meet the requirement; and the goel must be able to do it, must be willing to do it, and must be a kinsman, next to kinsman to do it. And God, the Creator of spirit, became kinfolks to us when He become man in order He could take our sin upon Him, and pay the price, and redeem us back to God again.
There it is. There is the Redeemer. Christ has redeemed us now. We are now redeemed, but He has not claimed His possession yet. Now, you might different with that, but just hold on a minute (See?); we'll see. See?
90-1 {140} He hasn't claimed it. See? If He took the Book of Redemption, everything that Adam had and everything that he lost, Christ redeems back; and He's already redeemed us, but He hasn't took the possession yet. He cannot until the time appointed, and then will come the resurrection, and then the earth will be renewed again, and then He will take possession, His possession which He got when He redeemed us, but will do it at the appointed time. Oh, my.
This is described in this seven-sealed Book that we're talking of now. All right. The Book of Redemption, it's all described in here. All that what Christ will do at the end will be revealed to us this week in the Seven Seals if God will let us. See? All right; it'll be revealed.
*So as believers of the message of this hour we know that according to the teaching of the message we are living in this time of His claiming work when Christ has come as the judge of all the earth as he did in the days of Noah and Lot to execute his judgements of Kinsman Redeemer and Kinsman Avenger.
*Noah’s day was a day of mercy and judgment, Lot’s day was a day of mercy and judgement, and as it was in the days of Noah and Lot, so shall it be again when the son of man is revealed. So we know that he is again both Lamb and Lion at this time - Redeemer and Judge - Kinsman Redeemer and Kinsman Avenger.
I KINGS 4:33-34 Pic up from last week…
33 And he (Solomon) spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.
34 And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.
***We finished with this point last week of how that God channelled the wisdom of Solomon to unlock the mysteries of the creation, because all these things of the trees and the beasts and the birds and fishes came directly from the eternal thoughts of God, and so they were all expressions of what God is because they were His thoughts expressed, and so each species of botany life and animal life and bird life and fish life all join together to reveal the one great God of his great thoughts and attributes of what he is, and so Solomon began to unveil the mystery of God through the wisdom that God gave him to reveal the nature and characteristics of this one great God through the mysteries of the creation of the creator – the mysteries of the creation revealed the creator.
**So there was a mystery of Christ hidden behind the lion and the nature of a lion. There was a mystery of Christ hidden behind the lamb, and the eagle, and the Ox, and the trees and botany life. He was the tree of life, he was the Lamb of God (The redeemer) he was the Lion (the judge and king), He was the eagle (the prophet), He was prophet, priest, and king.
All of these natures declare this one great God.
REVELATION 10:5-7
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
(This same God that created all these things and that gave Solomon the understanding of the birds and the animals, and trees and fish life is going to speak in this age by his prophet’s voice – a greater than Solomon is here again to reveal this one great God to a people of this age by unlocking the mystery of the lamb and the Lion, and the Ox, and the man, and the eagle)
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
So God is the Eagle, Lamb and Lion. He came in three son’s names:
The great prophet Eagle is the son of man. The Lamb is the son of God, the great high priest, and the Lion is the King, the son of David in the millennium, the Lion king. Son of man, son of God, and son of David.
THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST_ JEFF.IN ROJC 9-67 SUNDAY_ 60-1204M
251 "I always believed that God the Father had long, white beard, white hair; and the Son was a middle-aged man; and the Holy Ghost was a mascot boy." Brother, that's paganism. That's pagan. If you believe in three gods...
The very first commandment... What is the first commandment? "Hear ye, O Israel; I'm the LORD your God, one God."
That's it. He's one God, not three gods. He lived in three offices, served three places. He's Prophet, Priest, and King. He's Eagle, Lamb, and--and Lion. He's the Lily of the Valley, the Rose of Sharon, the Lily of the Valley, and Morning Star. He's the Root and Offspring of David. He's from A to Z. He's Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. He's all that, but He's One. He's one God. That's His titles that goes to Him, but there's one God.
**We know that in the Church ages he was the slain lamb making intersession as our high priest, but in the millennium he will be the Lion (the King), and the king is also the judge – that is why Solomon was a great king and also a great judge of the people. Abraham called him the judge of all the earth.
*So he was “prophet” (the son of Man) in the form of Jesus of Nazareth while in his earthly ministry in the body of Jesus Christ.
Then he changed his office to that of a “Priest” interceding on behalf of the ignorance of the people during the 7 church age’s dispensations, and then we know that he will be the King of kings as the son of David in the Millennium. But in-between his office as priest (7 church ages) and King (1000 years of millennial reign) he reveals himself as Son of Man again (prophet – eagle), When? During this in-between time between his Priesthood and his Kingship.
***So in between the seven church ages and the Millennium he reveals himself as son of man again – that is exactly the time that we are living in now – and so this is the time that Judgement is being committed to the son and also redemption as well.
THE.UNVEILING.OF.GOD_ JEFF.IN V-9 N-1 SUNDAY_ 64-0614M
68 Notice now, He came first as the Prophet, and they crucified Him. His own crucified Him. He came as the Son of man.
69 Then after the Holy Spirit came, He was then the Son of God. God is a Spirit. He was the Holy Spirit, Son of God. He lived through the church ages as Son of God.
70 Now, in the Millennium, He'll be Son of David, sitting upon the Throne of His father, David. He is the Son of David, now.
71 And, remember, between the Son of God... In the Laodicea church age, they put Him out. And in Luke, He said He would be revealed again as Son of man, the Prophet, fulfilling the rest of it. See? The Scriptures tie perfectly together. Son of man, Son of God, Son of David.
THE.IDENTIFIED.CHRIST.OF.ALL.AGES_ TOPEKA.KS V-20 N-1 WEDNESDAY_ 64-0617
50 Then when He died, rose, ascended, and sent back the Holy Spirit, that was the Son of God. God is a Spirit, and through the Church Age it's been Son of God.
51 And then in the Millennium, it's Son of David, setting on the throne, ruling. He has ascended up. "He that overcomes shall sit with Me on My throne, as I have overcome, and set down on My Father's throne." He is setting on the Father's throne now. But in the Millennium, He sets upon His Own throne, because He is the Son of David.
52 He is Son of man, Son of God, Son of David. See, it's just perfectly.
DOES.GOD.CHANGE.HIS.MIND_ LA.CA V-18 N-4 TUESDAY_ 65-0427
175 Now Jesus said, just before the Coming of the Son of God, or the Son of... the second Coming, that this age that we live through...
176 He come as Son of man, a prophet, because that fulfills the Scripture. Moses said, "The Lord your God shall raise up a prophet like unto me." We all know that was Jesus. Don't we? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] So He had to come according to the Scripture, a prophet. He never called Himself the Son of God; He called Himself the Son of man.
177 But now He is, through the Church age now, He has been Son of God. In the Millennium He'll be Son of David, sitting on David's throne. But between this time, we find out by the Scriptures, He is to reveal Himself again as Son of man, a prophet.
*So we want to look at this in-between time between the time of David’s throne and the son of David’s throne which was Solomon’s throne – because that is the time we are living in right now – we are now living in this
in-between time after the 7 church age have run out, and before the Millennium begins after the battle of Armageddon when the earth is cleaned off by atomic and volcanic fire.
THE.BREACH.BETWEEN.THE.SEVEN.CHURCH.AGES.AND.THE.SEVEN.SEALS_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 63-0317E
76-2 {54} Notice, and is not revealed until--this Book is not revealed until the church ages and denominational ages has run out, and there's time no more. See it? It's only revealed after church ages and denominational ages has run out.
***Remember that we have been called out of the Laodicean age by the voice of the seventh angel’s message – yes we are still living in a Laodicean condition as far and what is around us in a world that is full of the darkness of spiritual ignorance, but we as the bride of Christ have been called out of that condition by the voice of the seventh angel’s message to come up higher into a dispensation of an Eagle age to see the fullness of the word - our bodies are in Laodicea, but we ourselves have been caught up into the bride age by the invitation and the revelation of this hour.
***So when we go to 1st Kings:2 – we see that this portion of scripture is speaking of this exact same time between David’s reign and Solomon’s reign, and so we know that this has to be a prophecy of what is taking place in this hour.
I KINGS 2:1-9
1 ¶ Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying,
2 I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;
3 And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:
4 That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.
5 Moreover thou knowest also what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, and what he did to the two captains of the hosts of Israel, unto Abner the son of Ner, and unto Amasa the son of Jether, whom he slew, and shed the blood of war in peace, and put the blood of war upon his girdle that was about his loins, and in his shoes that were on his feet.
6 Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head (Grey hair – referring to old age) go down to the grave in peace.
(We see here that the judgement of the father (David) is being committed to the son (Solomon) to carry out judgement at this time between the ending of the father’s throne and the beginning of the Son’s throne before the millennium age begins, and so this is the time that we are living in right now between the church ages and the millennium, so that is between 1963 and the battle of Armageddon)
7 But shew kindness unto the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be of those that eat at thy table: for so they came to me when I fled because of Absalom thy brother. (The mercy and kindness unto the sons of Barzillai – Mercy is being committed for the son to carry out also. Those that feed him in his rejection as a rejected king will also be feed at his table in the millennium under the reign of the son of David – This is the time that we as message believers are now being associated with Him when he has been cast out and rejected by the denominations, and it is we who are sustaining him in this hour by upholding the truth of his word)
8 And, behold, thou hast with thee Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet me at Jordan, and I sware to him by the LORD, saying, I will not put thee to death with the sword.
9 Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou art a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do unto him; but his hoar head bring thou down to the grave with blood.
Now David as a rejected king is being cursed, so notice that it is after his rejection that he is now being cursed – and this is what is also taking place in this hour of what we see of how some people who were once believers of this message are now beginning to curse the truths of the word of this hour.
***When we get to the book of Revelation next week (Lord willing) we will see how the great Avenger avenges the blood of the martyrs at this time between his Priesthood and his Kingship.
