The Mystery of a Barren Woman Pt.3

GENESIS 11:29-30

29   And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.

30   But Sarai was barren; she had no child.

This is the first time that barrenness is mentioned in the bible, and so we know that there is always great truth associated with things like this that God places in the stories of people lives of what is recorded in the word.

GENESIS 25:20-21

20   And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.

21   And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren:

First Abraham’s wife was barren, and now Isaac’s wife was barren.

GENESIS 29:31

31     ¶ And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.

Notice - three barren women in a row, one after the other – the wife’s of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - all barren women.

I SAMUEL 1:5-10

5   But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. (Notice how that we are told here that Hannah’s barrenness wasn’t because she had something wrong with her medically, but that the LORD had shut up her womb – and God always has a great purpose for whatever He does, because He doesn’t do things to stop blessings, but He does things in order to bring blessings and to fulfill His promises in the season of when those blessings can be fully realized and appreciated)

6   And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. (Women in the bible represent churches – and so here we see Peninnah (the other wife of Elkanah), she is making fun of Hannah and provoking her because the LORD had kept her from having children.

*And this is why we must never allow ourselves to have an attitude of looking down on anyone who is suffering in some way with barrenness in their lives, because it is the Lord who is the one that is dealing separately and in different ways with different people.

GENESIS 30:1-2

1     ¶ And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.

2   And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?

The Mystery of a Barren Woman Pt.3

*Barrenness within a marriage can play a major role in the cause of strife and stress between a couple as the bible has shown us here of what took place between Jacob and Rachel.

And yet as we have looked at over the past couple of services, that barrenness is not just restricted to infertility, but there can often be many different areas of barrenness that people will suffer with over the course of their lives.

*Many people can be barren in the areas of knowledge and wisdom, especially when it comes to the knowledge of the Lord. Others will struggle with barrenness in the area of their finances, or with a deficiency of health, or with work-related problems, or with all of the above all at once.

*All of these things are a form of barrenness of what is common to us all in life, like that of traveling through a desolate land that is always struggling to bring forth. And a weary and desolate land is not a land that we like to dwell in for too long.

**The bible shows us seven women of which there had been a great strain in their lives to produce the promise of which had been purposed for in their lives. Yet before they could go on and achieve that purpose, the bible is showing us that they had to first endure a season of barrenness for a season by which they had to stand and suffer the reproach of that barrenness.

And so there are seven great women in the bible who were all barren for a season.

*Sarah – Abraham’s wife

*Rebekah – Isaah’s wife.

*Rachel – Jacob’s wife.

*Hannah was a barren woman

*The mother of Samson was barren

*The Shunammite woman was barren

*And Elizibeth of the New Testament was barren.

THE.REPROACH.FOR.THE.CAUSE.OF.THE.WORD_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-16 SUNDAY_ 62-1223

23-7 …barrenness first, have to be bare; have to stand a reproach of barrenness. Sarah had to stand it. So did Zacharias and Elisabeth have to stand it.

*And so this subject is a teaching that God has placed within the message of the hour.

**Unfruitfulness is such an unpleasant and distasteful thing to human beings, and this is exactly what Abraham and Sarah had to endure for many years before God finally performed His promise to them, and so this was the conditions of what their faith was tested under, because there is no test like the test of barrenness.

**And so this is why that we (as believers of the word and promises of this hour) have to stand this same test of the reproach of barrenness first, because it must come to a place first of where it will appear to the world that the promise of God (of which the believers of the revelation of these last days have held onto for so long) has failed to come to pass, just like it appeared that way with Abraham and Sarah.

*And so this is why and where many give up, because barrenness is usually deemed as being associated with a curse, and nobody wants to be associated with what looks like to be a curse - because everyone wants to prosper and multiply and grow rich, and above all, look good.

PSALM 107:33-34

     33     ¶ He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;

34   A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

Science has tried to be the answer to this problem of a barren world – but it will not endure, because only the eradication of sin from the world will be the answer.

***When it looks to people like that the prophecies of the scriptures have failed to come to pass, then people will begin to scoff, and this applies especially to the promises connected with the coming of the Lord because of how that it looks like that it has tarried for so long.

*And so people begin to mock that of what they perceive to be as barren, just like they did in Noah’s day after the Ark had sat baking in the sun for a hundred years or more without one drop of rain falling on it.

II PETER 3:3-4

3     ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4   And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

*And so we must realize and accept that there will of necessity be scoffers of the message of this hour that will rise up, because one of the mysteries that the message opens up to us is the mystery of the coming of the Lord, and that mystery will only be made known to an elected group.

***So from Sarah to Elizibeth – every one of these seven women in the bible are showing us in type a different portion of the mystery of a barren woman in these last days at harvest time, because each of these women’s barrenness proceeded the coming of Christ in type.

*Sarah’s barrenness came before the coming of Isaac – and Isaac was the promised son of which was a type of Christ.

*After Rebeckah’s barrenness came Jacob. And Jacob was the father of the 12 patriarchs – a type of Christ, our father.

*After Rachel’s barrenness came Joseph – a perfect type of Christ

*After Hannah’s barrenness came Samual – of which when he was rejected, and God said that it wasn’t Samual that was rejected, but that it was God that they were rejecting in the form of Samual, because a prophet represents God to the people.

*After Manoah’s wife’s barrenness was over – she gave birth to Samson. And Sampson was the one who died between two pillars with his arms outstretched of who gave his life freely in order to bring victory to his people, just like Christ on the cross who died with His arms outstretched between two thieves to bring victory to His people also.

*When the Shunammite woman’s barrenness was over, she gave birth to the promised son that came by the prophecy of Elisha of whom then died and then was risen back to life again – a type of Christ.

*After Elizabeth’s barrenness came John the Baptist, the very forerunner of Christ whose ministry was to make the pathway straight for Christ Himself.

**And so all these barren women were showing us of a prophecy of this end time hour of a great gentile church woman that has been barren for a long time, and that has endured the reproach of barrenness before the coming of Christ of which she has been promised to give birth to of the word of this hour (Christ) by being uniting with the word under the ministry of an Elisha anointing.

*This overshadowing of an angel with a message is what is producing the coming of the promised SON (Christ) again in bride form just like Eve was the coming of Adam in bride form.

IT.IS.THE.RISING.OF.THE.SUN_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-12 SUNDAY_ 65-0418M

111   And as He, being the Groom, the Bride has to come forth, 'cause It's part of Him. And It can only be the manifestation of the fulfilling of all the revelations any others has spoke of the Bride (Look at what he is saying here, that all these barren woman in the bible represented the end time bride of this hour – because this end time bride can only be a manifestation of all the revelations of all the other woman in the bible); It can only manifest. If it does something different from the Groom, it isn't the Bride. Because, She is flesh of His flesh, bone of His bone; Life of His Life, Power of His Power! She is Him!

(Remember - Eve was Adam in bride form, and Adam was Eve in Bridegroom form – because they were both apart of the one spirit and the one flesh because Eve was a part of Adam’s spirit and also a part of Adam’s flesh by being created from his rib, and so it took both Adam and Eve to be manifested in order to fully reveal the full mystery of the one body of Adam which was both masculine and feminine)

As man and woman are one, and woman taken from his side; She had taken a Spirit, the feminish Spirit, from Him. The flesh from His side, made both Mechanics and Dynamics, the Wife. The Spirit of Him and the flesh of Him, and put it together, and made Mechanics and Dynamics.

I SAMUEL 1:4-8

4   And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions:

5  But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. (This is why we must understand that things in your life that seem barren, that God is in full control over all those things, and that He has a reason for these seasons of barrenness in your life)

6   And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. (Nobody likes to be mocked for things in their lives that they struggle with, but unfortunately, many people mock others of whom have struggles of which they don’t have, because it makes them feel superior over the other person – and so this is a lesson for how we should always be kind and caring towards one another, and that we should never look down on someone who is struggling with some form of a stage of barrenness in their life)

7   And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat.

(Hannah was under great pressure. She was being mocked for her barrenness by her sister church as it were (Peninnah), and so she was in a state of continual sadness)

8   Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?

She had a husband, just as we have the revealed word of this hour, and that is a great thing that is truly better than anything else.

**But we see a mystery in the scripture that is beginning to be uncovered here concerning this barren woman (Hannah), and it was to do with her very powerful desire to bring forth fruit of the seed that she was continually receiving from her husband Elkanah, and because she was not bearing his fruit of what the other women were, this was causing her to grieve, because God has designed a woman with a strong desire to bare children, and God has design the church with that same desire also, and this is where we find that the great test lay with Eve in Eden of where she failed – because under Adam’s ministry, Eve found herself a barren woman, but where Eve failed under this trial of barrenness of which she could not wait for God to fulfill his own word concerning her barren state, but this end time bride will not fail under this same test of barrenness of which we are being tested on right now in this hour.

THE.SPOKEN.WORD.IS.THE.ORIGINAL.SEED_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-2 SUNDAY_ 62-0318

72-1   Adam's bride could not wait, but she mingled her seed illegally, illegally. We are supposed to believe God's Word and that alone.

Now, brethren, here and on the tape, do you see why I am contending for that Word, word by word. I've told you I believe that is God's Truth. God's protected that Bible. He's got to judge the world by something: through Jesus Christ which is the Word, and this Word was made flesh to become Jesus Christ. I'm just letting it soak in. Remember, the Word.

And now He finds her all messed up. You think He'd marry such a thing as that? Never. He's holy. She couldn't wait. Illegal, that's what Adam found.

72-3   Now, brethren, sister, look back. If you look at a shadow of anything, it's the very expression of the real image that's coming. So, you see, Adam had to find the wife pregnant. And she said, "The serpent beguiled me."

Now, we're--you're... I--I'm going to take it both ways just in a few moments, the Lord willing (See?), show you that it's impossible for it to be anything else.

72-5   Now, Adam's bride could not wait, but she went forward first. That's the way today, the bride today. She wants to manufacture something. "Glory to God," she's got to work it up on the platform. She's got to have everything. See? What is she doing? Manufacturing something.

**The desire for the church to try to show forth some form of life by whooping things up on the platform, and it is often for the purpose to try to make it look like that life has taken a hold in their womb in order to try to then take away the reproach of their barrenness and have it over the other “wife” (churches) as it were.

*And so this is what the prophet of God to this generation is teaching us of the temptation of how Eve failed on this point.

*We can now begin to understand the pressure and the temptation that Eve was under in Eden, of being under the ministry of her husband Adam, and receiving his word seed teaching that God was channeling to her through the ministry of her husband’s teaching, and yet remaining a barren woman.

**Adam was the mystery of Christ revealed to Eve, and so Adam’s ministry was to revealed God to Eve through the ministry of the revealing of the word.

But while all that was going on, she could see all the other animals of the kingdom of God’s great creation bringing forth offspring and life, but for her, she was not bringing forth children, and so she was suffering as a barren woman.

THE.SPOKEN.WORD.IS.THE.ORIGINAL.SEED_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-2 SUNDAY_ 62-0318

73-2   Now, notice, what happened to Eve's children? The first one that was borned... Now if God said, "Multiply (to his bride, to Adam's bride) and replenish--multiply and replenish the earth," that was God's commission; and she would've done it, and he would mixing themselves together. But what happened? When Adam got ready to come to her, she was already a mother. See what I mean?

Now, the same thing has happened to Christ's church, Christ's bride. Now, we're going back farther than that in a minute. Notice, in this bride, what did she do then? Her first child come forth; it was a bastard child, and he was full of death and caused death. And everyone since then is death. Now, you see it had to be sex. Why do you die if it wasn't sex? When God give a commission which cannot perish... God's Word's Eternal. It cannot fail. When He said, "Multiply and replenish the earth," that was God's eternal purpose. To carry it out you cannot die, because it's His Word. You have to live. And if that child would've been brought forth right, there'd have been no death; but she couldn't wait.

73-4   That's what's the matter today. You want some kind of a phony makeup with screaming, jumping, speaking in tongues, or something, instead of waiting for the real Word of God to be made manifest to the Bride. Them kind that takes the Word is God's true Bride, bringing forth children. They can't die. A child the Bride brings forth on the Word can't die, because It's the Word. Amen. Did you get it? She can't die 'cause she's... That child can't die because he's a Word child; he's a seed child; he's an eternal child.

WISDOM.VERSUS.FAITH_ JEFF.IN V-3 N-17 SUNDAY_ 62-0401

33-1 …Now, you see, the seed that she was holding (Eve) and would have finally become a mother... By the will of God, through a spoken word, she would have finally become a mother, but she couldn't wait, went into that.

In other words, Eve was never meant to become pregnant by a sexual encounter by an act of a sensation, but like Mary, she was to conceive and bring life into the world by the word of life that came by the overshadowing of an angel that had come to her with a message for that hour.

And Mary was determined to “let it be unto me according to thy word”, and then she waited in faith until God fulfilled His own word of promise to her.
