GENESIS 11:3-5
3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5 ¶ And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. (Notice that when the Lord descended from Heaven it was in the time of when this city of Babylon was being built by Nimrod and being manifested on the earth, and so this was an investigation judgement angel, the same as what we see in Revelation 10v1, and so we have seen the same thing repeating in our generation with Christ descending from heaven at this time when Satan’s Eden is being established upon the earth)
HEBREWS 11:8-10
8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. (Obedience to the word is what brings you out of Babylon – that is why the message of the hour is “Come out of Babylon my people” – it is obedience to the message of the hour that brings you out.
What brought Rahab out of Jericho? – Her obedience to the message. What gave Naaman a body change? – obedience to the prophet’s message)
9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Notice in our first reading it was “let us” – “let us build” “let us make us a name”, but with the city that Abraham was searching for, it was a city whose builder and maker was God.

Babel is the original name for Babylon, and Babel means confusion.
This message of this hour came to bring us out of denominational confusion.
When you have confusion you get division (that is why there are so many denominations), and when you have division you become weak because united we stand but divided we fall.
This same pattern is also what Satan has tried to do in the message with doctrinal confusion, confusion always brings division.
From last week we know that Jerusalem is the city of truth (Zechariah 8:3) while Babylon is the city of lies. The subjects of mystery Jerusalem have the seal of God, while the subjects of mystery Babylon have the mark of the beast
We know that today the whole world today is the Roman Empire revived – it is called mystery Babylon.

E-9 And our scene this morning is in Babylon. It's very good for us that we find out a little about this great city. And I've been studying recently on Babylon, out of the--the... geographically where it's set. And I was studying it out of Hislop's "Two Babylons," one of the oldest histories of Babylon.
Babylon first appears in the beginning of the Bible. Then it appears in the middle of the Bible. And then it appears in the last of the Bible. The reason it begins in Genesis, is because Genesis is the seed chapter of the Bible. That's where the seed of everything that's on earth today was started in Babylon--in Genesis, pardon me. And Babylon begin in Genesis.
It was first founded by Nimrod, which was a son of Ham. And it was first called, "the gates of paradise." Then it was called Babylon. And the word "Babylon" means "backslidden." And Nimrod founded this in one of the most fertile parts of the known world. And it was a great city. And it was founded in the valleys of Shinar. And Shinar was... The valley of Shinar was the most fertile place in the known world, a great agricultural center. And the great Euphrates River irrigated it's land. The Tigris laid north, into the mountain. But the Euphrates irrigated Shinar.
E-10 And right in the middle of this valley, this great city was planted. And it was one of the greatest cities of the day. It was a mighty place. And it was full of scientists and the intelligence of the known world.
The city was one hundred and twenty miles around it, to take the city. And this--walls were some two hundred feet across and most three hundred feet high. You could run six chariots abreast, around this wall and race around the wall. And then the city also had in it great mammoth streets. And these streets were almost equal or better than equal with the modern streets of today. They were some two hundred feet wide.
From last week we know that God was using these two natural cities (Babylon and Jerusalem) to show us something greater, because we know that there is a mystery Babylon and a mystery Jerusalem because these two cities represented woman – one was the false church, and the other was the true church.

57 Now, notice the woman, the church; she was Mystery Babylon. We see her appear by Nimrod. What was Nimrod's purpose? Nimrod founded a city and caused all of the other cities to pay tribute to this city. Could we see such a thing today? Is there such a place today? Is there a church that has domination over every nation in the world? Certainly. Is there a place today that makes every nation pay tribute to it.
When we think of cities we think of a collection of homes and buildings and shops and people living in those homes and towns etc.,
ACTS 7:47-49
47 But Solomon built him an house.
48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
So we know that it wasn’t the natural city of Jerusalem that God desired as an eternal dwelling city and temple and place of rest - natural Jerusalem today is just as bad as any other city in the world when it comes to worldliness and sin.
REVELATION 11:8
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
***The eternal and true Jerusalem is not a natural geographical location in Israel, it is a category of people – God wanted to dwell in the heart of a people called the bride of Christ, she is the tabernacle and city that is built by God where the Lamb is the light that lights us from within, that is the word in the heart of the believer, he is the king dwelling in his eternal city.
- We know that according to Isaiah 14 that Satan wanted to be like God and be a king and rule over a people and dwell in the midst of his people and be admired and worshiped. So these two cities of Babylon and Jerusalem are the really two different categories of people with two separate kings dwelling in their cities.
*Look at the nature of what was in the heart of the king of Babylon
ISAIAH 14:12-14
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Opening scripture:

Notice that this same “I will” spirit that was in Lucifer had now been transferred into a people – “Let us”. Lucifer in the beginning was just “I will”, but now this spirit has become in multiplied form and has been transferred into a people and now it is “Let US”, and so it was the people that was the real city that Lucifer was now ruling in.
Whatever God did, Satan wanted to copy and be greater - That is why everything that you see in Babylon is just a perversion of Jerusalem.
DANIEL 4:29-31
29 At the end of twelve months he (King Nebuchadnezzar) walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.
(Notice when this was taking place (after he had heard the message of Daniel who was the prophet of God for that hour), and notice the spirit that is upon him)
30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
31 While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.
We see this same spirit that was in Lucifer at the beginning, and was in the people at the time of the building of Babylon by Nimrod, was now in King Nebuchadnezzar at the time of Daniel the Prophet.
**Nebuchadnezzar refused the message of the prophet of that hour to come out of that condition of Babylon by a change of heart. God had already warned Nebuchadnezzar by a dream that the prophet interpreted for him – but he would not heed the warning of the message of that hour, he would not come out of the condition of Babylon in his heart.
***Sometimes people have a change of attitude but do not go on to have a change of heart – they don’t go far enough to have a change of heart.
When you were born naturally into this world you were born into a body that was Babylon because of your first nature – that is why you have to come out of Babylon by the new birth and come over into Jerusalem where God is the king and the ruler of your heart.
- If people are sinning and they get caught and their sin is exposed, then many times they will have a change of attitude because they are sorry that they got caught and their sin has been exposed, but the real thing that changes a person is not just a change of attitude but a change of heart, and that requires the willingness of the person and the work of the Holy Spirit. That is why King David cried “Change my heart oh God” after his sin of adultery had been exposed – otherwise he would have just gone on and committed adultery again with someone else down the road because if there is no change of heart then there is no change at all.
REVELATION 17:18
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
A woman is a city – and a city has a king.
In Genesis we know that Adam was the king over the entire earth, and Eve was the City, and Adams spirit was in both the king and the city – so in this end time age in Satan’s Eden, you just have the perversion of the same thing, Satan is the King, and the woman (false church) is the city.
***So these two cities are two groups of people at the end time that have two different spirits ruling in them as Kings.
REVELATION 22:4-5 is talking about this city of the New Jerusalem
4 And they shall see his face (have we seen his face in this hour? – Yes); and his name shall be in their foreheads (Do we have a revelation of his name in this hour? – Yes).
5 And there shall be no night there (Have we come out of the night time of Laodicea into the light of an eternal new day - Yes); and they need no candle (have we come out of the candle stick light of seven church ages into the rising of the SON? – Yes), neither light of the sun (It is not the SUN light, but the SON light); for the Lord God giveth them light (light is the revelation of the word – has he given us the revelation of the word in this hour? - Yes): and they shall reign for ever and ever.
We have always put this scripture off into some future time, but these things are also happening now – Mystery Jerusalem and Mystery Babylon side by side in this hour.
REVELATION 21:2-4
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Notice again that he is showing this city as a woman, and a woman is a church. Babylon is a spirit in a people, and Jerusalem is also a spirit within a people)
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain (from Christ’s death at Calvary, until the rapture of the church, the true church of God has suffered sorrow and pain and death): for the former things (of the seven church ages - of all the death and sorry of the true church) are passed away.
REVELATION 3:12
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. (His new name is the revelation of himself of who he is for the hour that you live in. That is why this message contains the new name, not the titles, but the person of the titles, the revelation of Jesus Christ revealed to you by the message of the hour)
PSALM 137:1-8
1 ¶ By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.
2 We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.
3 For there they that carried us away captive (for seven church ages) required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
4 How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land? (that is why we have come back into the land of the promised word in this hour)
5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.
6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
7 ¶ Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.
8 O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.
The same spirit that captured and destroyed the people of God down through seven church ages is now to be rewarded in the same way that she did with the true believers.

E-24 Now, we go back to Genesis to find out everything. We take, for instance, the word... Let's just use a little illustration here like "Babylon." Let's find out where Babylon come from. Just look at it.
The first place that it was pronounced, or we find Babylon, it was made by--founded by Nimrod. And Nimrod was the--a son of Ham. And he had come back and just goes back to the curse. And then it comes out; it was once called the "Gates of heaven," or "Gates of Paradise," or something like that. Then it was called "confusion."
Here it is way back in Genesis. Here it is down here in the days of King Nebuchadnezzar. Here it is come on over, and it ends up over here in Revelation again, we're still speaking of Babylon. Oh, if we had time to take that subject and run it through the Bible, Babylon...

E-15 …Notice, now, but in there, the Catholic Church come in existence in the Book of Genesis. Nimrod established the first Catholic Church, which was the first church. It was called the "Gates of Heaven," or "Paradise," first, "Babylon," and then was later called "Confusion." But Nimrod, the son of Ham, established the--the Babylonian kingdom, and in there idol worship was set up for the first time. He went out and got other cities, and they paid tribute to Babylon: just the very picture of the thing today, perfectly.
Now, Babylon appears in the first of the Bible, Genesis. Bible... Babylon appears in the center of the Bible again. Babylon appears in Revelations at the end of the age. See? Starts in Genesis, comes through the Bible, goes over into Revelation.

124 Notice his plans to build a super denominational church, the World Council of Churches, see, a super denominate, so that all the world will worship him, the beast, under the name of united Christianity. Would you like to read that in the Bible? Revelation 13:6 and 8. It's a modern tower of Babel.
125 Don't you remember how that Nimrod, that hypocrite, built this big tower and made all the other little cities pay tribute to it? Babble and Babel is the same thing. It just changes its names, and, as it comes on up. It's, Rome now is Babylon. And the whole world is brought to Babylon, and it's brought in by the World Council of Churches which will make every one of them bow to her. And you've took the mark of the beast, not knowing what you were doing. Because...
But those who are elected will hear the Word and come out of it.
How do you come out of the city of Babylon and into the city of Jerusalem in this hour? – You do it by hearing the voice of the prophet of God, and by a change of heart, and by obedience to that voice in this hour.

... and the name of the city of my God, which is the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: I'll put on him... (Oh, you can see it's all the same Name, if you'd already caught it. See, see?)... I'll put on him the name of the city of my God,...
"The City," He goes ahead and say, "which is the New Jerusalem (See?), the New Jerusalem. I'll put on him the New Jerusalem." Now, the Bride, or the church, is the New Jerusalem. How many knows that? The church itself is the New Jerusalem. You believe that?
