They That Were Ready
REVELATION 19:7-9
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. (Notice – made herself Ready – Noah and his group made themselves ready)
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Notice – First the marriage of the bride to Christ in verse 7, and then she is being dressed in fine linen in verse 8, and then the marriage supper comes after that in verse 9.
MATTHEW 25:8-10
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Remember that the marriage is not the rapture translation, the marriage of the lamb is the uniting of the bride to Christ, and that takes place on earth well before the event of the rapture and the marriage supper in that other dimension. So this parable is dealing with the events that are taking place right now before the catching away of the bride.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
They That Were Ready
Mathew 25 comes after Mathew 24, and Mathew 24 was the opening of the seven seals because Mathew 24 ends with “as it was in the days of Noah” which is the 7th seal of the coming of the Lord. But when we get to Mathew 25 (the story of the wise and foolish virgins) it continues to deal with the seventh seal of the events connected to the second coming of the Lord – so these parables in Matthew 25 are dealing with the events that are associated with the time that we are living in now concerning the groups that are following this end time message.
MATTHEW 25:8-10 Read again –
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. (Your lamp is your human spirit - Proverbs 20:27 "the spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord” And your spirit is made up of your Memory, Imagination, Conscience, Affection and Reasoning – so your lamp is to do with the realm of your mind (your thinking). And we know that it is the Holy Spirit dwelling in you that brings the illumination of truth to your mind so that you can understand and receive the word for your day – so it is the Oil of the Holy Spirit in you that continues to illuminate the truth of this hour to your mind and makes it clear to you. And so it was this that the foolish virgins ran out of - the continuation of the illumination of the revelation of the word, in other words they didn’t continue and go all the way with the revelation of the word)
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. (Buying is to do with a price being paid – it is not that you can buy the Holy Spirit, but there is a price that you have to pay of yielding your human spirit to the word of this hour, and that is what is require for you to do to make yourself ready)
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Notice again – they that were ready went in with him to the marriage, you and Christ both going along together into a marriage union which is you and the word becoming one by your spirit coming into full agreement with the word of this hour.
***Remember that the marriage of the bride to Christ takes place here on earth first before we go in the rapture to the wedding supper. So this parable of the wise and foolish virgins is going on right now in the ranks of this message because some are going into a marriage union with the word of this hour, and some are not.
PROVING.HIS.WORD_ JEFF.IN V-9 N-6 SUNDAY_ 64-0816
236 Now, remember, that was not Jesus talking to Abraham there, that could discern the thoughts in Sarah's mind behind him. That was not Jesus, He had not yet been born (He is talking about Jesus the flesh man that was born of the virgin Mary). But it was a man in human flesh, that Abraham called "Elohim, the great Almighty." Showing... And Jesus said, "As it was in the days of Sodom," now watch close, "in the days of Sodom, so will it be at the coming of the Son of man, when the Son of man is being revealed." Not no more as a church, see, not no more; the Bride is called, see. "In that day the Son of man will be revealed." What? To join the Church to the Head, unite, the marriage of the Bride. The Bridegroom call will come right through this, when the Son of man will come down and come in human flesh to unite the two together. The Church has to be the Word, He is the Word, and the two unites together, and, to do that, it'll take the manifestation of the revealing of the Son of man. Not a clergyman. I--I don't know, I... Do you see what I mean? See, it's Son of man, Jesus Christ, will come down in human flesh among us, and will make His Word so real that it'll unite the Church and Him as one, the Bride, and then she'll go Home to the Wedding Supper. Amen. She's already united, see, we go to the Wedding Supper, not to the marriage. "... fill your flesh... self, of all the flesh of mighty men, 'cause the marriage of the Lamb has come." But, the rapture, is going to the Wedding Supper. When, the Word here unites with the person, and they two become one. And then what does it do then? It manifests the Son of man again, not the church theologians. The Son of man! The Word and the Church becomes one. Whatever the Son of man done, He was the Word, the Church does the same thing.
That’s the coming of Christ in bride form – in your flesh and my flesh.
9-1 INTRODUCTION.THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.1
INTRODUCTION
Though this volume will concern itself with various major doctrines (such as the Godhead, Water Baptism, etc.) found in Revelation, chapters One through Three, its main theme is the setting forth of a detailed study of the Seven Church Ages. This is necessary in order to study and understand the rest of the Revelation, for out of the Ages come the Seals, and out of the Seals come the Trumpets, and out of the Trumpets come the Vials. Like the first burst of a Roman candle, the Church Ages come forth with a mighty initial illumination, without which there could be no further light. But once the brilliance of the Seven Church Ages is given by Divine revelation, light upon light follows, until the whole of the Revelation opens wide before our wondering eyes; and we, edified and purified by its Spirit, are made ready for His glorious appearing, even our Lord and Saviour, the One True God, Jesus Christ.
***You are made ready for His glorious appearing by first being united with him by your agreement with the word of this hour.
I PETER 3:18-20
18 ¶ For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
Preparing is to make ready prior to the event. While Noah was making ready under the instruction of the message of the hour that God had given them for that time, the longsuffering of God waited.
379-1 A.RESUME.OF.THE.AGES - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.10
But what about the true seed? It will happen just as we have said. The people of God are being made ready by the Word of Truth from the messenger to this age. In her will be the fulness of Pentecost for the Spirit will bring the people right back to where they were at the beginning. That is "Thus saith the Lord."
GOD.DOESN'T.CALL.MAN.TO.JUDGMENT.WITHOUT.FIRST.WARNING.HIM_ JEFF.IN V-8 N-3 WEDNESDAY_ 63-0724
63 Now, God giving warning, "Prepare for a judgment." The atomic bombs are in the hangars, everything setting ready. And God, before He can let this thing happen, He makes a call down through, like He did in Sodom, "Come out of it. Get ready. There is something going to happen."
64 Like in the days of Noah, before God sent the waters to destroy the world in the great antediluvian world that had come off into sin, as Jesus clearly said that it was a day just like this. "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man." How that the women on the rampage, and--and marrying and giving in marriage, and--and the great scientific achievements, and the smart educated going into the intellectual side, and the little humble Flock sitting off to one side waiting the pending judgment and the escape. And before God sent that judgment, He sent a prophet.
65 Just like He did to Hezekiah, He said, "Get ready, for the judgments are ready to fall."
66 And he made the people ready for the time. Noah made the people ready, and it was a call of mercy before judgment.
THE.VOICE.OF.THE.SIGN_ DENHAM.SP.LA SATURDAY_ 64-0321E
105 Noah, a prophet on the land--in the land, a sign of the coming judgment. Moses, a prophet in the land, the sign of a coming judgment. Elijah, prophet in the land, sign of coming judgment. John, a prophet in the land, a sign of coming judgment to Israel; they were absolutely cut off.
106 Notice, sign! What does the sign do? The sign is to attract the attention, and get the elected ready, and out of the way before judgment strikes. That's what Noah did, got the elected ready. The rest of them, and what does it do? The sign, and the voice of the sign, condemns the unbeliever and gets him ready for judgment. It gets the elected ready for the escape. That's what sign is. That's what signs are given for, for the coming judgment. To the elected, they see it.
***The proof that you are elected is because you see it – you see the message for your day.
62-1 SARDISEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.7
… for the coming of the Lord will be as it was in the days of Noah. The eight saved were well aware of the impending flood, and being aware were prepared and saved. But the world of the ungodly was swept away. Though they daily were in contact with the righteous and heard the truth, they turned it aside until it was too late. Those completely carnal people in that ancient period type out today the nominal Christians whose lives are full of earthly things, and take pleasure in them to such an extent that they have no desire for the Spiritual, and are not at all aware of, nor readied for His appearing.
**So what does it take in this hour for us to be prepaired and readied? It is just as it was in Noah’s day, Noah had the word of the Lord come to him in the form of the message of that hour that revealed Christ to him in the form of the Ark. And so it was the revelation of Christ that they grew and advanced in as the Ark was being constructed. And so it was their continual obedience and adherence to that message that made them ready.
