Touch Not Mine Anointed
I CHRONICLES 16:13-22
13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.
(These were a people who were under an anointing of God to be His servants and to keep his laws and commandments)
14 He is the LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth.
15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;
16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;
17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,
18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; (This is God speaking to Israel)
19 When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it. (when you were in the minority)
20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people;
21 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, (Notice – a supernatural power of God watching over them and protecting them – this is what is still protecting the nation of Israel today – look at the 6 day war in 1967 between Israel and the Arab states of Egypt, Syria and Jordan (three fronts). Israel was against impossible odds, but they won the war in only 6 days because there was a prophecy of a supernatural protection place over them by God – the same army of angels that Gehazi saw that morning when Elisha asked God to open his eyes is the same army of angels that was present with Israel during that 6 day war and it is this same army of protection that is with the bride of this end time hour)
22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Touch Not Mine Anointed
When we speak of anointing someone it is generally recognised as the act of applying oil (normally to the head of the person) as act to bring about a spiritual condition upon the person in a symbolic act to represent an anointing coming upon their human spirit in order for them to be able to carry out a task or the position of what God has ordained for them to carry out.
When a couple gets married – it always amazes me to see the anointing change on them from a single state to a couple state. It’s a spiritual change that takes place.
We are all familiar with spirits and different types of anointings. There is an anointing that comes over people at a rock concert or a football match. We can feel these things because we are spirits and an anointing is just a certain spirit falling upon your spirit like natural oil on your head to influence the way you think. Anointings can also come in different strengths – there can be strong or weak anointings, temporary or longer lasting anointings. Some people make decisions that later on they wonder what in the world came over them – that was maybe a wrong anointing or inspiration from the enemy to cause you to make that wrong decision.
**We are taught by the message of the hour that in the last days the true anointing of the Holy spirit would fall upon both the true and false seeds – the rain falls on the just and the unjust.

57 The true vine and the false vine, both had the same anointing. The water fell on both of them. No wonder He warned us, "It would deceive the very Elected if it was possible."
58 Notice, they look the same. They're anointed the same. But notice, "By their fruit..."
***Their fruit is their teaching of the word – that is the fruit that Eve partook of in Eden, she ate a false interpretation of the word, it wasn’t an apple, it was a false interpretation of the word of God that led her to do what she did with the serpent.
I SAMUEL 24:1-6
1 ¶ And it came to pass, when Saul was returned from following the Philistines, that it was told him, saying, Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.
2 Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats. (One anointed king (King Saul) trying to destroy another anointed king because of jealousy.
David had only six hundred men with him – so with Saul’s 3000 men this was a 5 to 1 advantage to Saul’s side. That is often the way it is with us also, it seems like the opposition has a much greater advantage against us like Israel in the 6 day war did, but we know that David had been anointed by Samuel the prophet to be the next king of Israel, so because of this, David was invincible until that prophecy was fulfilled – so there was a supernatural power of God that was protecting David in order for that prophecy of his life to come to pass. **And we have to realise that we are also under this same supernatural protection of the prophecies concerning the end time gentile bride of this day. we have also been anointed by a prophet in this day)
3 And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.
4 And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily. (David knew something more than what the advice of his men had said to him – we must also know this as well in this day)
5 And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart smote him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt.
6 And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD'S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD. (Saul was the first anointed king of Israel that the Prophet Samuel had anointed by the instruction of God)
The anointing of the spirit of God is necessary for a person to be able to carry out the prophesied task. It is the spirit of God that comes upon a man’s spirit that makes all the difference.
